The win over Klitschko is top tier. Wlad was ruling with an iron fist for years and fury whipped him.
but apart from this what has he got? 3 wins over Deontay and that’s it.
Wilder is trash let’s be honest.
all of fury’s other wins are against B- and C level guys.
For the record I think only Lennox would be a favourite over fury H2H.
I think if you truly belived that, you would just ignore the division, not spend your days endlessly trying to convince people how bad it is.
It's not a matter of believing it.
It's a fact.
This is an abysmal HW era. Usyk will clean it out and Fury knows this
''I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead.''
Famous last words.
I think if you were a fight fan, you'd ignore the division as well.
You are a fan of a fighter
Fury has retired not giving his fans any name to brag about.
Tua couldn't beat any version of Wladamir apart from maybe the 20 odd year old one pre steward.
No version of Tua beats even the Wlad Joshua beat, show Tua a bit of range, movement and jab and he has nothing for ya.
Prime Wlad chews up and spits out prime Fury.
Prime Fury was in awe of shot Wlad and didn't want to engage.
No one but you Furries will remember him when he retires.
This entire HW era is completely devoid of talent.
Del Boy is still considered a threat :lol1: !!!!
Fury at his best, taking a fight seriously, training hard, is the best HW of all time.
The guy is like Valuev's size, but moves more like Ali, fights dirty when he feels the need to, gets away with it because it's not dirty enough, comes in huge to wrestle his opponent. Then, as he approved vs Wlad, he has no issue in using his size to box and stink up the arena. How the hell do you beat that? He can brawl, box, and wrestle.
He subtly beats up his opponent with dirty little tricks and somehow refs don't see it. He's sneaky as fck.
I am sorry but you just can't beat a 6'9" boxer-wrestler who can get up from punches that would be KO's vs anyone else.
And the guy isn't exactly a light puncher either.
Tyson Fury is the best HW of all time. I do not care about his KD at the hands of Cunningham. I do not care about his crap performances vs Chisora, Wallin, or McDermott. Fury at his best is unbeatable. If Fury wants to win, he will win. He gives no sh/ts.
I almost agree. I think Lennox has everything needed to beat him but his feet are nowhere near as good as Tysons.
fury said the only way to beat him would have to put him down and out. Lennox has the power to take Fury out and would be more skilled than anyone he faced before.

- - OK, so U like SissyBoys wif luv handles to dream about.
Meanwhile back at Valhalla, them ol'timers who already settled who's who in the pecking order are noting Flubber has DQed hisself from admittance after dumping the Wlad Rematch and then picking on the lowest hanging fruit on the vine in Deyonce before turning down his biggest purses ever vs AJ, not just once but TWICE and soon to be thrice because he plays the mentally ill and retired get out of jail free card...
I am pretty sure starting boxing at 20 and achieving everything he did requires talent.
I’m just repeating what most people say about wilder. If he didn’t have talent. He wouldn’t be a multi millionaire.
Some threads keep getting bumped up this is one of them. Well, Tyson will unretired to fight josh/usyk winner then his resume is quite good.
Tyson not fought as many people as chisora has and not as deep, but at least tyson has wins rather than losses like chisora
Why are people saying Wallin is a good win?
Seemed like an awful performance for me from Tyson, clearly didn't respect the guy. Wallin shouldn't be anywhere near the ring with Tyson.
Time will tell, but I doubt Wallin is anything more than European level at best.
Tyson Fury is the best HW of all time.
Fury hasn't beaten anyone that Tua couldn't.
His resume is as thin as it gets.
Fantasy Fight wins are not how a guy gets into the HOF.
Let’s be honest, outside of Fury l, all the other English fighters would be EASILY whipped by no talent Wilder.
you think Wilder would beat Joyce, Dubois and Whyte? It’s possible but the thing is Wilder would never fight any of those guys lol

More so a really crappy era.
What wins of his will be remembered 10 years from now AND why ?

Wladamir is considered a great, mainly just due to volume of wins.
Let's be clear here, Fury could beat Mormeck, Leapai and Chambers on the same night, and probably still have enough left for Wach and Thompson twice.
You can only beat who's in your era, Fury is 3/3 of the way to doing that, Wlad, Wilder and the winner of Usyk vs AJ and he's proven by far and far away the best fighter of his era, with nobody else to test him, and he can retire unbeaten as well.
The only arguments against him will be grounded, in pure fantasy.
According to you, we have much in common.
We agree mostly on your last point.
A guy can only fight who's available.
Mostly slobs are available to this era's HW.
You know how Rocky gets props for beating the sad carcass of Louis ?
Like wise, Pac was hailed a monster for beating up shot DLH* worse than anyone ever has.
People make big deals over a name
Regardless of how shot that name was.
Then you have guys like Mike Tyson fans who say Lennox beat up the shot version
As if Lennox was in his prime.
Again, Fury and Wlad didn't actually fight..
It was more like a game of keep away.
It was literally the worst title ''fight'' ever.
Fans of a fighter have a way of hailing him when it's something that would normally be meh at best if it were another fighter who did it.
I'm still surprised he recovered from punching himself in the face. He used to be a literal punchline on this board. I'm happy how his career turned out.
He was an 11 year reigning unified champ, nobody else looked close to beating him, so yes it was a top tier win. Fury was a massive underdog in that fight and nobody was mentioning wlads age until it could become an excuse post fight. People were saying he was set to go on and beat George Foreman as the oldest champ aged 44, and they were confident in that.
Agree to disagree.
