Meh, who will remember Canelo when he retires? Probably Mexicans only.
Mike was unified heavyweight champion. Him beating Spinks and even old Holmes is better than anything Canelo has done.
Canelo fans say GGG is not even a good win for Canelo, but it is still the best "win" of Canelo, lol.
Or you gonna say Saunders, Plant, totally shot Kovalev are great wins.
But but he could beat Hagler, Robinson and Monzon aT hİs pRiMe.
And Mike Tyson would be in danger too
I guess that's why he didn't keep his promise.
He didn't want to ruin lives.
No matter what competition he fought, Mike was a global boxing icon.
Casuals around the world barely know who Canelo is. He is the star only in USA and Mexico.
As for this thread, Mike is known for bashing bums and getting bashed by non bums, as well as his non boxing antics.
Nelo has a much better resume.
Never been arrested (Mike got ''stiffed'')
Never wanted to forcibly make a male reporter love him
Never bit an opponent or try to break their arm.
Some so called fight fans cried their little hearts out when Wilder wanted to kill someone in the ring.
How soon they forget all of the Mike quotes about stomping on someone's grandchildren and pushing nose bones into someone skull.
He was a bully.
Now he's a character.
I don't see the similarities other than them both being famous male boxers.
Yes. Mike is more famous.
Nelo will never have his own cartoon.
Everytime he steps up in competition he gets whooped or schooled.
Some people on here can’t see talent. Tyson was exception. I rate Canelo lower but he’s great too. I’ll add some more exceptional TALENT. Pernel, Oscar, Mosley, Pac, Mayweather, Jones jr, Fury, Sugar Ray, Calzaghe, E Morales, Ali, Ward, Barrera & Chavez.
Lol what? Pre tyson prison was the undisputed champion when was canelo ever undisputed in his weight class? When did canelo ever destroy a top 3 p4p fighter like spinks in 1 rd or even clearly dominate a p4p fighter? Never. He couldn't even clearly beat a guy 10 older than him in ggg. LMA0
Fatuous, wow that's like a 5 dollar word. Who the *********** says fatuous IRL? Uhm, like nobody that's not trying to sound like a pompous prickstain.
It's not SILLY or POINTLESS, the POINT is Mike didn't lose that fight because the count was 15 seconds. Knock a man down for 10 seconds, you win by knockout. FACTS.
I know what you said and you said You're attempting to cover both bases by saying he lost because of his personal life but didn't actually lose anyway because of a 'long count' so I referred to the jail time to keep it in context. You do understand CONTEXT right?
The edgelord is extreme cringe tryhard wannabe. Like I said before, go edge yourself off because you're obviously in love with yourself.
368 posts in 13 years =---> OBVIOUS ALT.
Wrong as usual. Knock a man down for a 10 count you win. Seconds don’t enter into the equation. Yet another example of your low boxing IQ.
Despite being the undisputed champion, his resume is nonetheless mediocre. Please do not mention Tyson alongside Canelo; it is unfair to compare Caneloroid to one of the best fighters of all time. And please do not mention Tyson along with Canelo it disrespectful to compare Caneloroid to one of the greatest of all time.
Tysons resume is not great
I won't even comment on this anymore cause we have Canelo Nuthuggers and people who have followed the sport for a long time and know canelo is a scam.
So, without any bias whatsoever I leave this thread.
Canelo is more well-rounded fighter than Tyson. He is better boxer. Has much deeper resume. He got lots of ATGs' style in his style including Tyson's himself.
Also, Tyson appreciates Canelo and fan of his fighting style.
Canelo also appreciates Tyson's strength. Since you mentioned "many of ATGs' style," could you list them? Tyson is a far superior fighter than Canelo. Canelo is nothing without the tainted beef and PEDS.
Typical Crawfish fan. :lol1: Canelo is light years greater p4p ATG fighter than Tyson.
Only a lunatic would utter such a thing. Caneloroid is nowhere near Tyson's best. :lol1: :lol1::lol1::lol1:
You can say that for any supposed all time great.
Roy Jones stepped up and got whooped by Tarver.
So on and so on.
Stepped down about 20-25. We still haven't seen a modern-day 175 go heavy, win against a contender, bleed back down to 175, and fight another legit contender at 175. The jury is still out on Jones. I'd like to see Bivol or Beterbiev do it.
