Many here have been beating the drum about how avoided and underrated GGG has been. For the record I thought he won the first Canelo fight and lost(by a point) or drew the second Canelo fight.
I also thought GGG was very lucky to get the win over Deveeychenko.
btw I don’t think Golovkin can beat Canelo now due to age and wear and tear. But if he does beat Canelo will he go way up in your estimation?
he'll still be the D-Class man slayer
but if he beats Canelo I'll give him his just dues ..
maybe top 10 MW .. I have him as a Top 15 currently but I'll sway my opinion if he happens to do what we deem as the impossible

The 1st fight could have gone either way. Nelo paid him too much respect imho.
The 2nd....GGG was 90% jab. And yes, it's a weapon.
But in every other category, Nelo owned him.
GGG was basically a jabbing headhunter who couldn't land a combo.
But that's the past.
I find it fascinating how GGG's age in never mentioned vs any other fighter.
As for wear n tear....he has one of the softer resume for a guy of his standing -
Chenko pushed him with one eye
Nelo 2x
:dunno:
If GGG beats Nelo, it would be an epic note to retire on.
Nelo has been facing much tougher opponents than most, if not all, of the p4pers.
If anyone has wear and tear, it's Nelo.
