Inoue and Estrada would be his toughest fights I believe. But boy is Jr bantam/bantam shaping up to produce some all time great fights.
why do you think Estrada will be tougher? most people are picking Choco to be tougher over Estrada
Jesse Rodriguez reminds of his fellow Texan Orlando Canizalez. Except Bam will get the recognition that he deserves.

He has my seal too.
I would slow him down if anything. I'm looking into his potential. He started at the top. Go back and fight a few contenders. I personally am not interested to see him in the hardest fight possible. Go make some money first and preserve those otherworldly skills and killer instinct for a while.
Take some fun, stay busy fights.
That's what Nash thinks too BIG. Two tremendous wins in a row, especially Rungvisai, this kid is special. I'd like a couple of good fights, but a level down from Rungvisai, before getting in there with either Estrada or Chocolatito. Choc is having a new lease of life right now, and I had him beating Estrada 2. But Bam, he is one of boxings current star talents, just like our boy, the Great Tank. Nash out.
Bam vs Inoue
Bam vs Chocolitito
Bam vs Estrada
Bam vs Rey Martinez
Bam vs Nakatani
..... how yall see these fights going
one could say these are all future Bam fights

Incredibly impressed with Bam. His use of angles, defensive awareness that transitions smoothly to offensive barrages.
All of that being said, I don't think the stars could have aligned better for him. We were supposed to get Cuadras and SSR but SSR gets sick. Bam steps in and beats Cuadras then beats SSR.
Cuadras and SSR were by far the most shopworn of the big 4 in the division. Srisaket looks an old 35, he didn't impress me in his fights against inferior competition during the pandemic. He really struggled against Amnat Ruenroeng.
Contrary to some posters on NSB, I do think styles make fights. Bam was tailor made for SSR especially at this point in the Thai's career.
Bam versus either Estrada or Chocolatito are great competitive fights but they will probably be much tougher than Cuadras and SSR.

Tremendous talent with a phenomenal performance against Sor Rungvisai. Bam beat the fight out of the Sor Rungvisai and showed he can take a good punch and make adjustments in the fight.
the vets have been beating up on each other so I’d keep them away from Bam, they are ripe for the picking given Bams performance.
As long as he doesnt take a beating in a loss at 22 hell be fine with a loss if it happens against Choc or Estrada. Those two guys are not killers. The only big puncher there he just starched easy. This is not potentially Vargas getting a beating from Trinidad type of situation.
Chocolatito can still be dangerous.
I was impressed with his movement and especially his ability to block punches straight up the middle and also on the sides of his head. He was almost impenetrable with his guard, while also throwing and landing a high volume of punches. That’s a very rare combination. Activity like Pacquiao, defense of Winky Wright?
He really is. Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez is a must watch fighter!! Can't wait to see his next fight!!!
Thank you. I wanted to say exactly this as my last words until I see him the next time. His star should shine bright.
This kid is amazing. I didn't think he would stop Rungvisai.
I did. I was pretty sure about it. Bam hits hard. And if you plod forward, he will be able to take angles on you. And if he does that, while hitting hard, I believed it was only only a matter of time before Ringvisai was stopped. I had predicted he'd stop him in that later portion of the fight, so the 8th round was a little earlier than I thought he would do it.
22 years old and already has two of the old guard big names under his belt (Cuadras and Rungvasai). As far as Mexican Americans go....looks like this generation the Tex Mexs are producing better talent than the California Chicanos. California does not have anyone like Bam or Vergil in terms of talent unless I am forgetting.
I'm good with second tier. He can sharpen those skills more.

This Bam kid is impressive. I like his little step-to-the-side move and then drill the opponent while the opponent is out of position. Looks exactly like what Lomachenko does. Before tonight this kid was barely on my radar.
