Ha ha, floyd arguably lost just like Nel o has. So what if Nel o arguably lost, so has floyd. Losing don't matter at all if you've accomplished what SRR,Ali, Nel o and Pac has.
Is bud greater than floyd as bud hasn't arguably lost?
Canelo lost not only arguably. he CLEARLY lost to Floyd and Bivol.

Mayweather didn’t arguably lose to Canelo lol. Not even close.
Shut the *********** up. This is about Canelo and Crawford.
Losing matters in the real world. Crawford hasn’t arguably lost. Canelo has. He’s also clearly lost multiple times.

Lol. The only thing he saw from your post was “Floyd”, that’s all he needed. Floyd permanently lives in his head rent free.
There's nothing wrong with losing let alone arguably losing! All the best have lost. You don't hold arguably losing against floyd do you?
As long as you take risks and take on all comers in your career and mostly win that's main thing

I voted Canelo.
That stated, Canelo shouldn’t be above Crawford on p4p lists as of this post.
Canelo has arguably lost to the 4 best opponents he faced. Lara win and ggg draw are cited by many, many posters as 2 of the worst scorecards. He looked like a struggling amateur against Floyd and Bivol.

Who cares, this is stupid, I'm done arguing, I already said Canelo had a better resume anyway. You're entitled to your opinions I'm entitled to mine, I just hope people give Bud the respect he deserves after he beats Spence and hopefully Charlo.
Yes, this is a stupid argument, I'm glad it's ending.
Oh and yes I will give Crawford props if he beats Spence.
I have Crawford # 3 on my P4P list with Spence at #5...hell, if he stops Spence, I'll make him #1 & leave the #2 slot blank because no one should be that close to Crawford in boxing at that point because I consider stopping Errol a huge feat.
He'll be 35 this year. He was content up until the very end which is why he re-signed with Arum and Top Rank in 2018.
You should read the lawsuit. Under the penalty of perjury he says that he signed with Bob and he was promised they'd get him big fight against Specne and PBC fighters. When Arum failed on that promise he sued him. Remember Arum was able to do it for Fury, he can work with Haymon as long as both fighters want it, Wilder and Fury both crossed the street.
I can write "a large percentage of the people who watched the fight had him winning" ...it's easy to type. I mean what metric do we have to back up our statements. We don't know every boxing fan in the world.
I agree. That's all I'm saying, everything else is noise.

No it wouldn’t. It would not matter if you add in all the times you think he took L’s.
How much would it matter if we give Pacquiao a loss to Agapito Sanchez, JMM 2x, and then also give him the wins he should have gotten over Bradley and Horn? How many fans would he have then? How would those wins/losses effect him today? No effect at all. Just a little bump on the road. He still fought MAB, Morales, Cotto, Hatton, Mayweather, Clottey, DLH, Margarito. The losses, controversial or not, doesn’t take away the fact that Pacquiao consistently fought the best fighters. Which is why he is haters and fans. You don’t really gain haters from fighting nobodies. That’s why Crawford doesn’t have many haters, because he hasn’t fought really fought many great fighters.
It’s much easier to hate a fighter who takes on the best and struggles several times. That’s just boxing. It’s how fans behave.
Canelo still fought the better fighters. He is still more accomplished and fought the tougher fighters. The thread is about, win or lose, who fought the best. That’s canelo.
Add in all of the losses you want to give to Canelo, including Lara which I 100% disagree with. As someone who predicted Lara would win. Lara didn’t do sh/t.
Give 15 year old Canelo a loss to Miguel Vazquez in his 3rd pro fight.
A loss to Trout, Lara, and GGG I.
His clear loss to Mayweather.
Give him his clear loss to Bivol.
Don’t forget to mention his struggles vs Callum Smith where he looked like a midget trying his best to get a KO that never came. His struggles vs Saunders, Kovalev and Plant also can’t be overlooked just because he got the TKO.
Add all of that in. He still fought better fighters than Crawford. And better fighters than most.
That’s why he has fans and critics alike. I am not a fan of Canelo because he is the perfect boxer who wins 12 rounds to nothing against the best. I am a fan because he fights the best and is competitive against them, win or lose. No one in their right mind, who wants to give Canelo losses to GGG and Lara, can say those fights were not competitive and close.
Fair enough
Obviously he was not contend because he is now suing top rank for not delivering on the spence fight as promised. Why else would he spend millions on lawyers to sue top rank for not giving him the opposition he wanted if he was content fighting bad opposition?

He gets credit for taking this fights.
I agree. That's all I'm saying, everything else is noise.
Again, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it...I beg to differ.
it is what it is.
It's not an opinion that a large percentage of the people who watched the fight had him losing.
Call it what you want. You don't have to call it controversy, this is all I'm talking about.
He gets credit for taking this fights. But we're taking about resume and a clear and convincing win helps much more. Or at least avenge it like SRL did with Duran, Ward with Kovalev, Floyd with Maidana and Castillo.
Joke thread on paper but if Caneo got the decisions he actually deserved maybe it would be closer. GGG 1 and Lara fights should have gone the other way.
but Crawford doesn’t have one great win and not even a very good win. Very poor resume, but a great fighter
