I'm fkucing laughing at pednelos cheerleaders (most delusional fans ever) who believed he can beat Usyk and outbox Beterbiev lol this is never gets old
Hopkins is old and slurring his words. He probably thinks Canelo is still with Golden Boy.
Yeah don't forget Hopkins thought he was invincible too and both Kovalev and Joe Smith Jr made him look absolutely stupid.
I can imagine the fight.
Canelo has some success in early rounds and guys here are like: wow, Canelo is outboxing Beterbiev.
Canelo must work hard to deal with Artur`s shots, he eats many of them, he gets tired.
Artur becomes a little frustrated, he doesn`t care to box anymore, he starts brawling Canelo and mauling him on the ropes.
Artur finishes Canelo by huge uppercuts or the referee stops the fight somewhere between 8th and 10th round.
It wouldn't take anywhere near 10 rounds. Canelo thinks he can't be knocked out. So that would be the reason he'd go Mexican and stand right in front of Beterbiev.
Beterbiev does his best work at mid range exactly where Canelo wants him, he won't have to struggle to find him with his mediocre footwork.
IFhe can take the punches he'll most likely win on points (you know the drill), Smith fought an abysmal fight I wouldn't place too much stock in Beterbiev doing a job on him.
Him beating Usyk is delusional but Beterbiev is a very real possibility again IF he can take the power which I believe he would be able to, Canelo struggles with extremely active jabbers or out and out boxers Beterbiev is neither.
LOL you must be joking. Beterviev, again, does everything better than Canelo and hits MUCH harder.
Might retire and go golfing
He seems more focused on golfing now.
But was he ever actually focused on being great?
He never cleaned out 154 or even tried. His fanboys will say how he took on risk by fighting Floyd and Lara, don't get me started on how it's bullshit when they give him credit for Floyd, but after the lara fight he should have been focusing on fixing his reputation at 154. After that gift decision he should have proved he was really that guy at 154. Rematch Lara and fight all the big threats and belt holders there. Andrade and the Charlos. Instead he ducks them all. This went on for THREE YEARS until he decided he wasn't at 154 anymore.
160, years later, he finally fights GGG, again leaving a lot of controversy like Lara at 154. But no rematch, picks another easy belt with Jacobs. But like he always does he fails to tr to clean out the division, no Andrade, no Charlo.
Goes to 175 to face a brutally beaten, rehydration claused drained, zero rested Kovalev.
Then sees that 3 weak champs have belts at 168 so quickly swoops in to become "undisputed." But never campaigned at the division for long, fought all the top guys, the way Usyk, Bud, and the rest did. Just 3 easy paper champs. No Benavidez, no Morrell, nobody else.
It's a fraud of a resume.
Canelo is truly trapped now.
He can stay at 168. And fight Andrade, Charlo, Morrell, Benavidez. You know all the people he been ducking.
Or go to 175 and rematch Bivol. Who beat his ass. Or fight Beterbiev and get stopped.
Things are not looking too good for canelo.

Canelo would not have any success against Artur for 30 seconds. Beterbiev would just murder him too fast.

imagine beterbiev working the body of a tired canelo after 8 or 9 rounds? lol, he would fuck him up real bad
hard to take you seriously when you say beterbiev's footwork is mediocre lol, is canelo who has basic footwork of the two
I'm on about Canelo "his best work is mid range exactly where Canelo wants him, he (Canelo) won't have to use his mediocre footwork to find him" I didn't realise that was difficult to wrap your head around.
I can imagine the fight.

The size and power difference is significant. Canelo is overrated pos who got caught cheating.
He knew the outcome of he fights Beterbiev so he decided to cherry pick Bivol who didn't perform well in his last two fights (in canelos team opinion)
I strongly believe at 168 Benavidez will beat him. Even old ggg will cause problems in their 3 fight
I can imagine the fight.

Artur would chew Clenelo up, eat him, s h I t him and open a pharmacy with what he s h at.
Artur would end Clenelo's "career".
Whenever Canelo felt Bivol`s power, he didn`t like it.
Nah, i don`t see Canelo taking Artur`s shots for 12 rounds. Artur stops him IMo. Just imagine Artur having tired Canelo on the ropes, like Bivol had him.

Nice assessment. Unfortunately very rare on here. Most on here are into idolizing boxers or have crushes.
I’d also like to add that he has to be able make him respect his power. I just think that lite heavyweight is too big for Canelo.
All you ladies giving Canelo sheeit have never laced up a pair of gloves So save your lame, lack of boxing knowledge write ups on here. You all sound like you 14 or have been living in your parent basement for 30 years. Impress us all and get a girlfriend.
Hopkins once said Canelo would beat Bivol and Beterbiev in the same night

Canelo getting a gifted decision against GGG made people believe he would unify 175. I am still laughing when I remember Canelo was actually seen as a favorite for Bivol fight, lol.
I will say again, Canelo is a good boxer, but his results are pure fantasy. In reality, he lost every round against Floyd and he won maybe 3 rounds against Bivol.
You notice Canelo has never actually said he wanted the Beef fight. You always hear it from Hearn or someone else. Canelo wouldn't have ducked Beterbiev 3 times now if he thought for one second he could get to the judges scorecards, which he cannot. They tried to shaft Bivol with those criminal level scorecards and Canelo lost almost every round.
