Al Haymon, regardless if you hate him or love him, is a very smart man. He doesn't need to create a belt......idk if it is true but I have heard that Haymon "pays" some (maybe all) of his fighter lower guaranteed purses with bigger back end so his fighters don't have to pay as much sanctioning fees. Of course this is just hear say, this is just what ive heard...I have no actual proof. Likely, and for tax purposes, too. Almost all of them do.

All fighters fighting for ANY belt have to pay sanctioning fees.....this includes real World Champion belts, regular belts, franchise belts, interim belts, diamond belts, etc etc. Lower end fighters also have to pay a fee to be "ranked". This is why you sometimes see random no name fighters become mandatory or ranked in the top 15. Tank's I don't care about the belts argument doesn't seem genuine then.

I won't blame Davis if he avoids Haney. It's tough to beat such style. But I'll be rooting for Tank if it happens. Casuals will see him as the underdog.

Davis-William Zepeda would be a dream fight for me next. I like to see Zepeda take one more fight first. I like to see Davis-Ryan too. JoJo would be nice too. Stylistic paradise for me.
