Does anyone really think Golovkin has a chance against Canelo? I just re-watched the fight between him and Murata, and GGG looked like shit. His reflexes are gone and his legs are shot. Now I know someone is going to bring up the Bivol's performance against Saul but, Bivol was a young and prime fighter. GGG is going to be 40 years old and extremely shop worn in his third showdown against Nelo. Canelo will stop GGG with body shots or beat him in a dominant decision win.
Well as we've seen recently, Canelo's stamina and output isn't nearly what it was at 160 so that always favors GGG, even at 40 years old. Even though 175 is as high as Saul can go, coming back down to 168 is going to take its toll as well, however small. You can't keep moving around divisions like that and not have it affect your body.
Doubt it unless that Bivol loss has done some psychological damage to Canelo and ruined him, which seems unlikely. I'll be rooting for GGG but he probably gets stopped this time tbh.
Canelo will put on a masterclass and dodge GGG's slowa$$ punches like Nicolino Locche. Legitimate UD win. But, Canelo becomes lazier and lazier.. His raw talent can't save him against young lions like Benavidez.
It'll be interesting to see what Canelo's next move is after this fight. Will he rematch Bivol or fight Benavidez? He's truly at a crossroads now.
There is always one last good fight on any fighter.
If Golovkin has one, this might be a good fight.
Golovkin already won twice against the PED king, so who knows.
Canelos is probably injecting more tainted meat on himself as we speak.
Respect to the true P4P King Charlie Zelenoff. For Nash, Golovkin will know this is his last roll of the dice, as if he loses, he walks away. Will he win? I really don't know, but one thing is certain, he will leave it all in the ring. Nash has a feeling that this will be an absolute classic, despite Golovkin being written off due to age/inactivity. Nash out.
I hope this fight is a classic and that GGG surprises me and puts on the fight of his life. He'll have to if he hopes to leave the ring as the victor.
Could be a Pac vs Marquez situation.
Nobody expected Marquez to knock him out in the fourth fight because of his age, despite having been robbed three times previously against Pacquiao.
I wouldn't mind seeing that happen but I doubt it. Unless GGG is on every steroid known to man and magically get's his reflexes back, I see Canelo retiring the old warrior.
That was when GGG was younger, he's forty years old now.

Canelo should be favored but GGG always has a chance. He did beat him twice already and get robbed both times, after all.
I thought GGG shook the rust off after the first few rounds against Murata. He got better as the fight went along. Could just be the layoff.
