it will take a special fighter to beat shaker. boring as hell but he can box Him and Haney are the most peculiar boxers in boxing atm. It would be hard af for anyone to beat them because they box the way they do and their natural gifts (hand speed, reach) make them size mismatches for anyone that could (tank, loma, etc.) and anyone with their size (kambosos, teofimo, ryan) just aren't good enough to match them. Even an eventual matchup between Shakur vs Haney is weird because Haney boxes so incredibly safe while Shakur likely has more skill but hardly has great power at 130, can't imagine 135 being different; probably less power.

I like Vaquero , but yeah it would take a special performance from him to beat Shakur

Welp, looks live Vaquero vs Baez instead, which falls in line with most of Navarrete's fights. Not a bad opponent, but not a top 5 guy, should be fun stylistically and have great action, but just another guy out gunned against Vaquero. Just give me Shakur vs Conceicao next That then try to reschedule Stevenson-Navarrete for the end of the year.

Navarrete would have to do a lot of roughhousing to neutralize all the holding Stevenson would do. Ugly boring fight I think. Now Navarrete vs Valdez or Nakathila would be a super exciting fight!

I think Navarrete does much better than Valdez but doesn’t have the size to really beat the gifted Stevenson.
