Glad I'm not the only one who sees it LOL
I wish he’d go even further and actually fought like Mayweather. Show some variety in his punches. There’s more to boxing than just jabs and clinches.
Being in a war zone ain't easy. Takes a lot out of a person on many levels.
I just don't want him rushing back into anything for belts or Arum's pressure tactics.
War Boxing!:boxing:
Facts!! :boxing:
Yeah man. Really good points. And knowing Lomachenko he'll go into something even if he's not physically ready yet, just because he feels as if time is not on his side and he has to do things right away, which we saw on the Lopez fight. So that might be best. I guess we'll have to see ... it sounds as if he's been trying to stay fight ready, and it was only in December when he last fought. Not so long ago.
To be honest, the training camps are what kills a guy's body, so I think it's best not to have too many training camps. It's kind of a complicated situation. I think that rematch clause makes it complicated. What Arum should do is offer Kambosos a different fight down in Australia and maybe offer a rematch with Haney or maybe Teofimo at 140. I think that Haney has maybe one more fight down at 135 because he doesn't look good making the weight anymore.
It's a complicated situation. Maybe offer Loma to Kambosos down under, and after Loma annihilates Kambosos, he fights Haney? Kambosos would be a good tuneup fight for Loma. Not sure what's going to happen.

I'm all for Loma-Haney, but not until Loma has 1 or 2 fights before that. Loma has a max of 2 serviceable years before he becomes a pedestrian. He can't afford a single loss, or it's the end. And this is no disrespect. Needs time to adjust and get into an actual boxing shape.
If I was advising him, I'd give him at least 3 months to recover from the war trauma: physically, mentally, and emotionally. It's not a joke even hearing those loud explosive tanks on the daily. He's in a different reality. Keep working out during that break (light to medium). Come and live in the US for that. Maybe have a light touch first.
If you are too arrogant, fight Cruz, or even Rolly. Haney fight might be less damaging tho.

Haney just tries his hardest to sound like Mayweather and speak like Mayweather. It’s just funny to me. I can’t take his interviews seriously because it’s like he’s been cast for a Mayweather biopic and he is really trying to ace his character :lol1:
Tough competitor
I take nothing away from him
I just want an even playing field
Whatever the case may be
Young hungry Lions
Haney just watches Mayweather interviews on repeat and speaks like him and uses phrases Mayweather used.

I agree except for Kambosos. He's limited to certain styles, but his fight with Teofimo was arguably the best fight of 2021. It was a rollercoaster ride for me. If you match Kambosos correctly, he can give you an amazing fight. Think Kambosos vs Cruz or Tank. Those fights would be intense while they last. Who knows, with Kambosos it might just go to the cards, but you know there'll be fireworks during the whole fight. Kambosos just can't handle a pure boxer that's more athletic him he is.
I really don't wanna put Kambosos' name with Loma and Davis. The only intense fight I wanna see for Davis is Loma. That fight would be exciting and epic. The rest for me is like meh. I wouldn't mind Gervonta shutting Ryan's mouth up in the meantime.

I don't really wanna see another fight of Haney for a little while unless it's against Cruz, Loma, Davis, or Ryan. If they wanna repeat his last fight, the world will go mute on them. I also don't wanna see that other guy fight again ever, unless he slips in to an undercard I'm watching. Bad luck to them if they wanna repeat that POS.

How do you think Haney vs Tank would go? Would Haney stink it out?
Davis has a style that'd mesh with all styles. Every single 'top' lightweight.
That's why almost everyone picked Davis vs any of them in that poll.
If you wanna know who I think wins, we have time.
I know Haney can't make that one boring.
Let's see what's next.
Haney is pretty chill. He has a good personality. I don't know him so I can't say for sure, but most of what I've seen points to Haney being pretty cool. I don't like his father's formula for making **** up to stir the pot, but I get the social media propaganda approach. He's just trying to make buzz for his son. Which actually makes me wonder about something. I'll make a thread on it.

Add even Rolly in there.

I dislike these belts with passion, but it's his business. I won't be respecting them ever, or talking about the undisputed BS, but I'll respect him as a person from now on. It looks like he had connected with the little local Aussie community and made a positive impact on them the little time he was there, whatever that was about, at the end of the video.
