Bob Arum said that Lomachenko saw the fight and was unimpressed with Huggin' Haney. He said those are his belts, and he wants them back. He wants to fight Haney next, so now Arum is trying to get Kambosos to step aside.
Loma prefers the Haney fight because of his ability to dismantle tall boxers and because it's easier to train in the USA.
So let's keep our fingers crossed because we need someone to eliminate Huggin' Haney. If Loma has the belts, the Tank Davis fight becomes a very real thing.
Things are always said, people change over time.
Let's not derail the thread with unrelated issues.
Let's talk Loma!
Okay. Fair enough. I'll let War Room sort it out.
Also I was clearly talking about Froch, who was wildly swinging like an ape/caveman in that fight.
Wow! You clearly were NOT talking about Froch. The fact that you're trying to blatantly lie says everything anyone needs to know about who you are as a person. That and your profile picture, where you have a white man raping a man of color tells the world that you're a low-down, good-for-nothing, son of a bitch.
Yes you did and you've been caught red handed openly calling a black man an ape!

It took you 5+ tagged quotes for you to get enough guts to type that lmao. Everybody calling you a racist pig in the search. I had no idea, here I thought you were the ultimate fangirl hopelessly in love with the Klitschko's, but low and behold I think we got a white supremicist in our midst ---> as I live and breath.
he said he fought like an ape, not that he was an ape ... although I don't really know enough about apes to know how they fight
Are you that much of a bitch to go looking up posts from almost 10 years ago to try to get someone in trouble?
I concur, never doubt matters of the heart, look at what buster did in Tokyo to Mike after his mother had died?
Oh yeah for sure. I have seen a documentary about that. With Buster it is very unique, because his mother died during his training camp, I think weeks before fight night if i’m not mistaken. I read about that over a decade ago and I believe there is an ESPN doc about that. Every fan should watch that. Even non fans should watch it.
Only way Haney beats Lomachenko is by clinching and hugging him for 3 minutes of all 12 rounds. And he is absolutely capable of that. But I would not call that “outboxing”.

Haney will outbox Loma in a snoozefest. Will Lomas pressure even get to him? Or will haney be on his bike all night? Someone once said Haney doesn't have what it takes inside to overcome pressure. But a certain fighter will eventually test him to see if he is that fighter with intestinal fortitude. Wil Loma be that guy to bring it out of him? Or quite simply will team Haney come up with a blueprint to solve the matrix? Not to sound like a hater but Loma has already slowed down, is a smaller lightweight, had doubts about his shoulder after injury years back, has less power and I'm pretty sure Haney knows how to fight a southpaw successfully. I think Te'o vs Haney would've been good. Now that I come to think about the lightweight division, I would like to see tank vs Garcia, Haney vs Loma, Kam vs a tune up, then Kam Jr vs winner of Haney Loma. I don't know where the winner of tank Garcia goes, probably back to the over protected blueprint... But if Haney is still there, then the 140 lb division will have a new player in the division. Te'o and kambosis was a good fight but at the end of the day Te'o can't take losing, while kambosis takes his losses like his wins, with respect.

Nice but I prefer to see Lomachenko in a lighter comeback fight. If he waits for Haney-Kambosos II without a fight, he will be beyond rusty. So he needs a rust fight first.
A fight against Isaac Cruz or JoJo Diaz would be a good rust shaker because while neither of them stand a chance vs Lomachenko (Cruz has a puncher’s chance), both of them are good pressure fighters who would make Lomachenko let his hands go.
Lomachenko even though he might be 35 by the time he could fight Haney, would still be Haney’s first really good opponent of his career.
If this fight happens, I think Huggy Magee will be in trouble because he will be facing a Lomachenko who will be looking to win for a country that has lost 100s of children, and 1000s of civilians in the hands of Russia. He’ll be in there trying his best to win every round. Haney’s hugs and clinches will need to be on point for 12 rounds.

He didn't against Lopez. He wasn't even in the fight until after the 6th round. He's not Floyd.
I also dont know where you think you saw Haney "running. " Haney is not a runner. You can't claim you know anything about boxing if that's what you think you saw.
Bad word choice with "Running." I meant "moving." This is what you see done in the amateurs. He has a very amateur style that's good for scoring points but not good for putting the hurt on. And you just said he adjusted in the sixth round. He was also injured, and on my scored card and many others, he didn't lose. Crawford had it a draw. Ward had it a draw. Atlas had it a draw. Garcia had it a draw. Many had it a draw and even some had him winning by a round. You can't point to bullshit corruption and think that reflects on Loma. It was clearly a draw and Loma outlanded Lopez by far. He started outlanding him in the sixth round. You're cherry picking one fight when he made so many adjustments in all of his fights. He had one good arm against Lopez. Everyone knows this.
The only problem is that he has slowed a little bit, but he's also much fast than guys at 135 because he's used to fighting at the lower weights, where everyone is faster. Gary Russell Jr. had the fastest hands in boxing, and Loma was faster than him. Loma's ring IQ is just better than Haney's. Loma hits harder than Haney. And Loma is an expert at taking away your reach advantage. And Loma's footwork is way better than Haney's Believe it or not, Haney's footwork is not that good. You don't notice it because he's athletic, but his footwork is mediocre.
You guys will see what happens when Haney fights Loma. I don't need to say anything. The only thing that has made Loma hesitate was one-punch KO power and being injured. If you don't have that, then you really don't have a chance. Simple as.
Loma has definitely slowed over the years. I see it, and if you look at a peak fight like against Russell, today's loma is clearly a bit slower. 50/50 fight, leaning Haney.
Yeah. Loma is 34 but let's not forget that Loma has a lot of similarities to Floyd, the biggest being the ability to adapt to what people are doing in the ring. Loma can make adjustments on the fly. Floyd made it to the top of the P4P list again when he was 36 years old. Loma just turned 34. He's still good. He has a couple more years left.
And we have to point out that Kambosos' stats on Boxrec are BS. The dude is not 5' 9" with a 68" reach. He's 5' 71/2" with a 65" reach. You can tell just by comparing him to Bey and Lee Selby. ****s ridiculous that he has to lie about his height. The point being, however, is that Loma is as big as Kambosos, and even though Haney is bigger than both, we already know how big he'll be to Loma because Loma and Kambosos are the same size.
And I want to point one other thing out, which is that Haney's boxing style is aficionado (amateur) puro (pure for you non-Spanish speakers). Touch, touch, run. Touch touch, run. Touch, run. OR Touch, touch, duck, clinch. Touch, touch, duck, clinch. It's so amateurish that I don't know what to say. It's all about scoring points. Well, I have news for some of you out there—Lomachenko is the best to ever do it in the amateurs. That's his forte. So you bring an amateurish game plan into a fight with Lomachenko, and you're going to get schooled.
And don't even think about clinching Loma because he's got one of the best inside game in the business. A background in MMA, with wrestling, judo and Sambo, it'll be Haney's biggest mistake if he thinks he can wrap up Loma.
Don't get me wrong, I think it will be competitive. But Loma is better now than when he fought Luke Campbell. The way he dismantled Nakatani was pure brilliance. He's better now than ever, so I'm not that worried. The only problem is with the judges because we know how Arum works. I think Loma will have to stop Haney to win, which is entirely possible.

You realise blueblood is legit ******ed right? He’ll bold face lie. I hope there is something like video evidence of Arum’s words in that video.
I know he's full of shit 90 percent of the time. He tells half-truths in every video he does. But he actually does have an open line of communication with Arum. I do know that because Arum has appeared on his Youtube channel several times. And because of that, I think he's telling the truth. Although, I don't put it past him to change a few of the facts to get clicks. I guess we'll see.
