Yes . I bet money on Kamabosos to win by split decision.
I knew the risk... and the following elements contribuited my decision:
Hometown cooking , local pressure .
Somehow the win vs Lopez made me think we are in a brawler volume pressure vs a full boxer scenario and we have examples in history of these type of matches ( loma vs salido , may vs castillo 1 , maidana vs may 1 etc )
Media did play a small factor making kambosos this all out warrior leaving all in the ring .
Even with all those factor i still knew Haney was the better boxer but I did bet on Kambosos wining at least 6 very questionable rounds.
Nothing of these was true , it was a full boxing school lesson and the mistake and lesson learn for me was never judge a fighter for only one good win . Haney will loose eventually to a really good pressure fighter who can cut thr ring and corner its rival well .
For now its a lesson for all of us .
Congrats to Haney for proving many people wrong incluing myself .

At least you can get more money, but I'll never get the 2.5 hours of my life back that I spent waiting for the fight, and then watching it and waiting for something to happen.
Good post. I hate all the human interest stories we have to get through each big fight. The constant repetitive video packages are as bad as pro wrestling too.
The fight was as repetitive and redundant as all the commentary leading up to it.
I’m happy for Lucas Browne getting a first round KO. Course then we knew we were going to a long repetitive promo.
Melbourne/Aussie fans are great but it didn’t take long for all the air to get sucked out of the stadium.
Kambosos didn’t even have a tan.

How much did you lose?
Not much like 100 bucks , the odds were good enoght but I did recover some on the lucas browne vs fa fight , always bet on the old man with power in heavyweights .
