Plus around the 5M gate he did. Tank is definitely on a different level compared to only a select few stateside.
Now you’re changing. I asked you specifically about the paying fans that you labeled that way.
No one is defending the choice of opponent so stop the fake stuff.
Why are you labeling the fans he brings that way? You haven’t labeled any other fans that way.You keep avoiding a direct answer all of the sudden.
You’re upset that fans that like Tank pay to see him. Why?
I label anyone who defends weak opp choices yet praise that same fighter. Period. Did you pay for it? If so, u support bullshi.t matchups.
I label them halfafa.g ginger fans that too. As for Davis specifically, nothin but smoke n mirrors. Constantly defending a 2ndary title calling himself a 3 time champ? F.o.h....this ppv and the last were weak af. Hell, most of his fights have been too. 27 years old and aint fought the real champs at 135/140. But his defenders will claim otherwise.....and yes, those are some d!ckridin fanboys

I think the issue is people want to watch Tank fight but won't pay $75 for garbage PPV shows. I streamed the sh** because I like watching him fight but I will never pay for a PPV of his unless it's against one of the big names. People keep buying this garbage and they'll keep feeding it to them. Imagine Tanks numbers if he was in that fight last night on ESPN, they would have had like 2 million people watching and that's how he grows as a young star in the sport. They have their way of doing business and that's fine but it's bad for the sport and the fans. All that said, we aren't forced to buy it and I don't but I still find a way to watch him fight.
Smooth cool that is your choice. Some fans, like with Floyd, Manny and Canelo, pay to see them against anyone.
El Mero is mad about that. So mad that he disparages those fans in as nasty a way possible. I can’t understand why?
Ok but he isn’t because ESPN isn’t willing to invest in the company Tank works for. It feels like you ur blaming Tank for that.
You’re flat out wrong that it’s bad for the sport. Tank just put 18k+ fans in Barclays. Who else besides Canelo can do that right now? How is that bad for the sport?
The fans that want to see Tank go and see him. The fans that have an axe to grind, like some NSB posters, don’t. Why should Tank and his team try to attract someone like that?
The bigger issue is how he labeled the fans that did but it. If you can’t see the problem there then so be it.
The world isn’t perfect, and crying about it won’t make it so. Business politics didn’t start and won’t end with Tank. Life goes on. Last I checked, tank wasn’t on any of the p4p lists. I’ll get annoyed when he starts getting unfair hype/privilege from the system. I’m not complaining because he’s an organic draw.
Agreed.....
Reality is also knowing his 2 "belts" at 35 and 40 are 2 things....1, BS and 2, he can enforce his status as the #1 to either champs in Haney or Taylor. I wont hold my breath tho. Hes had years but cause we got fanboys willingly paying for mismatches, er, entertainment, we'll continue to get sh.it like this billed as a "championship" fight.

Reality is understanding and accepting the politics in regards to the business.

Yea because it’s real classy hating on boxing fans who spend money on the sport. I just spent over $90 filling up my gas tank which provides me with absolutely zero entertainment, but I’m supposed to be feel bad if I choose to spend $70 on a fight I wanted to see?
I understand that you want to see Tank against the best of the best to see what’s what, but get over yourself. You’re not the only one. Some of us just understand that this is part of the business and the politics of it all aren’t going anywhere just because you get emotional and start lashing out at others.
You came back to reality. Good job.
Lmfao ...asumptions are for chumps, halfafa.gs and posters who aint even close to a fictional pimp in real life. Keep it classy, kid.

I see, you’re mad because you’re broke and don’t have $70 to spend watching a fight. I get it, but that’s on you for being a failure as a man. Not on the people who do have the money to blow.

Only b!tchasses are the d!ckridin fanboys who bendover willingly for "entertainment". F.oh

Those numbers are good when considering that most people no longer subscribe to cable television anymore. Nowadays, people mostly stream their entertainment over the internet.
People watch the fights to be entertained. Stop being a bitchass hater. What others eat don’t make you sht.

He is, without fighting anyone worth a damn. Fanboys are weird.

Completely reasonable.
If the complaint is Tank v Rolly wasn’t “ppv worthy”, I agree.
Rolly sold this fight every time he did an interview and Tank has a fan base that shows up for him.
I can’t understand why this would anger anyone with an account on this site.

This didn’t address the question. You labeled Tank fans that went to the fight as “d-ckridin fanboys” . Is this the same for every other fan?

Exactly. Why would anyone be salty that boxing is performing? As a fan of the sport you should be happy for it. The thing about ratings is that they are down everywhere, people just don't watch television as much as they do, instead they watch netflix and youtube and other forms of entertainment. There is also more competition out there than ever. I only buy the PPVs of the fighters I really want to see, such as Tank, Lomachenko, Fury, Wilder, Crawford and Joseph Parker. Nothing wrong with that, but I won't be hating on someone doing numbers in the sport even if I personally didn't buy it or dislike the fighters, one person I would never support is Adrien Broner.

Isn’t that the case with TV ratings and ppv sales across the board?
Canelo is the cash cow and he isn’t selling anywhere near Floyd. Boxing ratings have reset on regular TV as it occupies a different space in the sports atmosphere. Also far more sports on because there are any more apps and channels.
It seems you just don’t like Tank. Which is fine.
What is making you so mad that you label boxing fans that purchased the ppv “ d-ckriding fanboys”!
When you buy a Canelo fight, are you also a “d-ckridin fanboy”? What about other fans?
Dude, how about you tell us your real issue here because it isn’t rational that a boxing fan is mad when a boxer sells ppvs.
