I went back and watched the fight carefully and counted the punches landed by each fighter in every round. What I found was that Crawford out-landed Porter five rounds to four and did it by a wide margin. If you listened to the critics you'd think that Porter was dominating that fight 7-2 or 8-1 before the stoppage. Another thing I noticed is that Compubox has Crawford out-landing Porter in the same rounds (4, 6, 7, 8, 9), they just overcounted both of their landed punches.

Crawford carried Porter for whatever reason
Ward - What is he doing in there?
Stevenson - He hears Ward and go over to Crawford corner between rounds
Crawford's Corner - You are behind in the fight.
Crawford - How is that?
Stoppage.

Bunch of PBC fanboying going on here or what? Bud won the fight easy. Took Porter into deep water and pulled him under to never come out again. Happy retirement Shawn!
Well, I'd also have to watch the full fight again and actually count the punches. That video you linked is less than 10 minutes long, so it's be heavily edited. It's untrustworthy because it's not the full fight.
It’s 10 minutes long because I removed the parts where they weren’t throwing/landing anything. Remember they weren’t that active, long spells of inactivity in that fight.
He didnt just outland him, his ring generalship was on point. Porter had a couple moments but TC was setting the trap all night then put porter down. Real boxing fans knew it was the end after that.
But Crawford was out-landing Porter by a margin of 5-10 punches in rounds 4, 6-9. Landing one quality punch doesn't erase 5-10 punches from the opponent

Because scoring a fight is based on round by round as well as quality of the punch (among other things). You don't score fights by tallying punches at the end of a fight. Doesn't work that way.
