I see people mentioning that Wilder would not have an opportunity to land on Uysk but I think he would have plenty of opportunities. Usyk is not a defense first fighter. His offense and activity is what wins him fights. I just don't see a scenario where Wilder doesn't hurt hum at least once during a 1e round fight. Not saying he stops him but I see him landing for sure. Yeah, but my argument is less to do with Usyk’s defensive abilities, and more the fact that Wilder’s a very predictable puncher in a bout where someone not only knows what he’s about to throw, but also, for the first time in Wilder’s career, has the mobility, footwork and reaction times necessary to preempt him. Usyk doesn't have Fury's physical strength and length. Both of these attributes are what Fury used to defuse Wilder. Stay out of range, jab, then when you enter the range, bully him with your size & strength to keep him from setting up the big bomb. Usyk won't be able to back Wilder up and at some point he's gonna have to enter Wilder's range. Don't get me wrong, Usyk would make Wilder look silly, but at some point that right hand will land and Usyk will wake up in hospital. Wilder doesn't care about getting outboxed, he's only looking for one thing. Wilder doesn't have the stamina to go 12 rounds at the kind of pace Usyk sets. After 4/5 he would start blowing, backing off looking to take breathers and when that happened Usyk would put his foot down, overwhelm him and force a stoppage. Even before he moved up to HW Usyk was asked in an interview which of the top HWs he thought would be the easiest and which the most difficult to beat. He said straight away that he knew how to beat Wilder and it would be an easy fight for him. I believe him.

Yeah, he’s been hit me plenty of times by people who can set punches up. If Wilder could set up like any other semi-decent boxer Usyk’s faced, I’d make him favourite, but he’s easy to read (no, I don’t want to get in there and test that out). On this note, your man, Fury got taken down by Wilder a few times. But I say this not to slate him, but say that when you watch those KDs back, it was apparent that Fury knew what was coming from a mile off. You can see his top half trying to mobilise away from Wilder’s shots, but he couldn’t get his feet to respond in the same manner. The thing about Usyk is that, even if his chin proves not as solid as Fury’s, his footwork will keep him out of trouble vs. a guy without the IQ necessary to trouble him, IMO. Depends how he performs in his comeback fight. Let’s see him against a Gassiev or Sanchez. He can’t take a tune up considering his age and also how his entire early and middle career was one massive tune up

Wilder has no chance to Ko Usyk. History dictates it as so. Guys of the level of Uysk just don’t get KO’d by punchers like Wilder, although it doesn’t stop the fans from dreaming that it might happen. Maybe if Usyk was british Wilder could win the first fight by fluke and proceed to get punished and stopped in the rematch. I’m inclined to agree, but I’d be lying to myself if I did. Yeah, supreme boxers normally beat one-dimensional boxers, but you can’t honestly say Wilder has ‘no chance’. He’s a puncher, hence, he has a ‘puncher’s chance’. And it just so happens that punch hits like an asteroid. Whether he gets to land it is a different matter, but he’s live in this fight.

Wilder looked like shit in his last fight. It ended up being so exciting because Fury came in underprepared and overconfident and carelessly walked right onto a wild, desperate right hand from Wilder who, let's not forget, had already been decked once and was getting pasted from pillar to post at that point. Even with that massive stroke of luck, Wilder didn't have what it took to put Fury away and as soon as Tyson recovered - which didn't take long - he went straight back to dominating Wilder and battering him from pillar to post until the inevitable KO finale. Well, wilder looked as good if not better than white so he could be no3 behind usyk and josh. But if his confidence has taken a hit and needs to build himself back up maybe put him lower. Id like him to fight a few bums in comeback

Wilder hasn`t won a fight for like 2 and half years. Not sure what to think how good he is.
