So Devin Haney just arrived in Australia, with two weeks to go. That means that this first week, Haney will be counting sheep all night long, so the first week is a wrap. Very little sparring, etc. From people who have made the trip before, the consensus is that you feel like it's day one of camp. You're slow and sluggish. In the second week it gets a little better but he won't be normal until the day of the fight, and that's the soonest he'll start to feel somewhat normal.
So, with his dad not going, with his whole team pretty much not going, I'm wondering if Haney is still the favorite to win. I haven't looked to see what the odds are now, but I imagine they'll change today or tomorrow.
Given the situation now, who do you think is going to win and how?
Owning yourself again, pathetic. Put out the blunt and learn the English language please.
Not only was it a simple vote, but also what's called an if/then statement =---> which stands true. An if/then statement isn't a prediction because of the word IF lmao. IF x...then x. Got it dummy lol?
Haney does have chin problems and IF Kambo got him in a situation like Linares did (as I stated...not predicted), it would have been goodnight. Fortunately for Haney they had a historically fixed ref in Hector Afu who broke the action up AS INSTRUCTED every time they got close just so what I said would happen...wouldn't.
Little Loma whipped that arse, had Haney in trouble, and got robbed, facts.
Let's talk about predictions and more importantly putting my money where my mouth is =---> I've been retired for years, last wager I made was Pacquiao over Thurman for several units. I'm making a comeback and my first wager is here:

That's like your monthly income lmao.
For a pothead thats always crying about people stalking him, you're doing your share of stalking and yet you continue to lose even when you think you've won. Keep digging though, but you won't like what you see. Isn't it blunt o'clock right about now?
You’re a coggsukker. You break your arm patting yourself on the back when you’re right but it’s all excuses when you’re not.
Thanks man, appreciated. I was nervous with the Thurman fight, I think Manny was like -180 when I got him. He was never under -800 back in the day.
Speaking of Hopkins, I had him over Tarver at somewhere around +350 on 5dimes. The system I created was based on properly capped moderate favorites so I never really picked dogs, but I saw that one coming a mile away. I forget what I made, maybe something like ~$1,600.
I might have been retired by the time Hopkins fought Cloud. Picking dogs and staying in the green is an art form.
I bet on heavy favourites almost every time. I'd usually bet between 5-10 thousand just to get £1,000 or less back. On what I'd call "sure thing" bets.
I very rarely bet on underdogs, only when the line made it too hard to not bet such as Hopkins-Cloud at evens.
But as we all know, even "sure things" can go wrong in Boxing, such as the loss I talked about, Ricky Burns-Kevin Mitchell, £7000 at 1/7 to reach round 6. Which you'd think would be a sure thing, but sadly wasn't :lol1:

That's ironic because the last bet I put on was also Pacquaio-Thurman.....With Thurman to win :lol1:
My biggest wins were Maidanna over Broner (5/1 I think) and Hopkins over Cloud (Even odds)
The Hopkins one being free money in my eyes, how Hopkins was evens to win that fight I'll never know. I put £5000 on it. In all honesty I wish I'd put my life savings on it.
Good stuff with the Crawford win, that's a ballsy bet (the stoppage).
Voted Kambo by tko. I think Haney has chin problems and if Kambo gets him in a situation like Linares got him in, Kambo will get a tko.
Didnt see you bragging about this prediction.
lmfao.
Sure.... but will it actually matter? Aussie judges will rob Haney if he wins.
Definitely a lot closer on the scorecards then I had it, but at least Haney got the W!
Haney by potshot decision.
Or you could also say Haney by clinching decision.
Not a remote possibility. Could be one of the greatest steals that was ever pulled off in boxing.
Haney got moments of sneaking in loud thundering combos that even non-judges won't able to ignore.
Kambosos then is forced to chase Haney to get even, but then Haney got zero inside skills
and his main defense is to hug and clinch. Rinse and repeat till it's late in the rounds and
George tries to catch up, makes mistakes and get hit instead.
Quite a good break down of the fight by Bey.

Man! Bey just said Kambosos doesn't know how to fight going backward! Are you kidding me?! That's how he beat Teofimo! He fought the whole fight going backward. See ... this is a real cause for concern if this is coming out of the Haney camp.

I saw that and I see some massive problems with Bey's take on Kambosos. He either never studied film on Kambosos or he doesn't know what he's seeing. He says Kambosos doesn't know how to take away a guys weapons, which is 1,000 percent incorrect. When I heard that, it made me really concerned for Devin. I hope Bey is just talking and doesn't really believe that. If that's the thought process, then Devin's got some problems.
Kambosos actually has a good command of distance when he fought Lopez. He boxed well and and defended well too. His counters were very good. He was able to handle the pressure of a big puncher like Lopez. He took some big punches too and his chin held up. I have Kambosos winning by UD or split. Haney may be the better skilled but his lack of power will cost him. And Haney is not really that much skilled and he gets hit a lot. He's not like the Stevenson type skilled fighter.

Heinie own country say he runny/stinker wif a WBC email belt.
Lol Yeah. Will Haney run or will Haney fight? That is the question. And it's a weird paradox because if he runs and jabs, the judges are going to look down on that, especially if George is able to counter him. But if he realizes that it'll look bad, forcing him to stand his ground, then he plays into George's strengths, and has a good chance of losing it that way.
I don't know man. I hope I'm not taking myself into think George will win, but at this point, that's what it looks like to me.
The question is how long can Haney make it HIS fight? Can he do that for seven rounds? He's going to have to do for seven rounds and win those clearly or else he's going to lose, IMO.

My vote is for Kambosos by decision. How? Kambosos is not Linares, Diaz, Gamboa. George has like springs on his feet which makes him very elusive. It seems second nature to him where he could position himself in the ring even when the going gets rough. He gets caught, but he counters in quick combos and that's what Haney has to contend with. Bottom line is Haney hasn't fought anyone like Kambo, and the opposite cannot be true.
But anything can happen in this sport.
Looking forward to this one think it will be a war , voted Haney by TKO just think he knows that is what it will take and that he cannot leave it to the judges ...
