Smh no. My fault. I meant to quote bballchump11 for posting that Ellerbe video
lol Yeah. I realized that later because my post didn't quote him. All he posted was Ellerbe. I suppose Ellerbe is still upset about the Tank PPV #s and is trying to retaliate. The difference is that Ellerbe and Showtime never released the PPV numbers or even gave a number. I think Hearn would know more than anyone else. Maybe Ellerbe should just release the Tank numbers :lol1:
Not a trustworthy source. lol How does he know? This guy hates Matchroom, DAZN and especially Eddie. One of the least trustworthy sources. Not even a source, really.

whether you think the 600k is good or not, Nobody else is coming close to that kind of number in boxing. People are just finding alternate ways of viewing fights now and not paying the the PPV $ to watch it.
I don't understand why the plant fight did so much better I think It did 800k. I think having an all-access kind of program with a few episodes would be very helpful. Those things really help pay-per-views. There might also be some people that were confused because the app previously had a policy where they flamboyantly said no pay per views ever so people might not have known this was on Pay-per-view.
It was simply promoted better. It’s a lot easier to show ovet and over the scuffle they had and the words they exchanged. Bivol barely speaks english
These Floyd fans are the saltiest haters. Notice the same ones calling 600K a flop, are the same ones who praise Spence's 240K as "good numbers".
Floyd has them brainwashed into believing that an undefeated record is the be all end all to a boxing career. That's why you don't see anyone taking risks anymore.
Yeah, I remember them saying 240K as being good numbers. And you never heard anyone saying the Crawford/Porter fight was a flop.
It's all relative. None of those fighters you mentioned signed a 100 million dollar deal. Canelo on the other hand was given 8 figures, they expect to him to sell millions of ppvs not a few hundred thousand. Canelo is a failure relative to the expectations that have been placed on him. Tank, Porter, Spence, Thurman, Crawford. None of those guys were paid 100 million. See the difference?
What do you care what Canelo is making or how much DAZN may or may not be losing. It's about making big fights. Canelo who isn't even American made big fights and managed to sell 600K worth of PPVs on the same night of a major UFC event.
Stank, Crawford, Spence, Andrade can't sell out their own home towns and do abysmal numbers.
Canelo vs Bivol 2 or GGG 3 will do better than Stank/Rolly and Spence/Crawford (if they ever fight) combined.
You should be more pissed off these black Americans aren't picking up where Gayweather left off and making these million dollar PPV buys. Stank who was Gayweather's protege has been doing terrible numbers. You'd think he would've been guided differently but his career has been a mess, he's still fighting like he's an up and coming boxer. Canelo at Stank's age was fighting GGG, Stank is going to fight some bum named Rolly.
"A constant flop?" You dumbass. He did excellent numbers vs Plant when there was a UFC fight that night. He did excellent numbers vs Bivol considering it was DAZN's first PPV event, Bivol was an unknown and again, they were competing with a UFC event.
Which of his fights have been flops? list them.
Spence/Uguas - 240k - flop
Stank Davis - all of his fights have been flops.
Thurman/ Barrios - 39K MAJOR flop
Crawford/Porter - 135K - FLOP for who you people call the "#1 P4P"
F.uck outta here, they wish they could get close to Canelo's numbers.
MMA is going to pass boxing because Crawfors/Spence/Stank/Charla/Andrade are all too scared to fight any real opposition and keep their precious "0"s intact.

you can't be a "Boxing Fan" when you hope that boxing events fail so I HOPE this is true BUT Eddie will say whatever to make himself look good so we will never know for sure that real number
The showtime fight did 800k, so it seems reasonable considering Showtime has so many more subscribers.
I think it's more that they had more brits who bought because of BJS.
And also because Russia is Russia. Mother land of illegal streaming.

That's better than what all the haters were hoping for. :lol1:
huh those are impressive numbers especially fighting a no name like bivol, given you have to be a paying subscriber first just to order the ppv
the numbers would have been much higher if people didnt have to sign up to dazn and pay the subscriber fee first.

The difference is I do not care how many ppv buys he does.
If you support fighters who win popularity contests, that's all on you.
I prefer fighters who don't get humiliated in 12-0 defeats to smaller euro bums who are weak to the body.
I have no reason to doubt Floyd. He's the biggest PPV draw of all time. Canelo though has been a constant flop. There's a reason Hearn is calling for a GGG rematch instead of another fight with Bivol. The Bivol fight flopped. Also lol at pretending 600k is some amazing number. That's pathetic for a guy getting paid as much as Canelo. You don't pay a guy near 8 figures just to struggled to sell 600k ppvs. Canelo continues to kill DAZN. MMA is going to pass boxing if Canelo keeps dragging it down.
