This weekend, keep your eye on Tony Yoka. Watch the smooth, ultra disciplined boxing, and that crushing right hand. You saw it here first. Remember that. When the sun has set on the Fury-Wilder-Joshua-Ortiz-Usyk-Parker-Whyte era, the historical bracket to follow features France's Yoka feasting on the bones of Joyce, Hrgovic, Sanchez, Wallin, Dubois, Anderson, Dychko, Franklin....
and all the rest. If I'm wrong, find this thread after the fight and have at me! In the meantime, sit back and watch history unfold.
Obviously true. I was overrating Yoka, I predicted his win with late stoppage.
He won`t make a big money in hw if someone like Bakole beats him like that. bakole is still a fringe contender at best in my book.
I figured he fought the better opposition
Plus his amateur career
Instead the guy is really pathetic
Now , I just read that he’s commonly known to be a ped user
Makes me wonder
Tony Yoka My fughin balls
He shouldn’t even come close to a 15th ranked heavyweight , he’ll get destroyed
If that’s all you got against Bakole , please do yourself and us a favour and change employment
A big hitter would and will hurt him badly

True. It was a while ago i can't remember it fully but I think Hunter was beating him even before the injury. I didn't like how his corner had to persuade him to continue either.
I don’t know for sure when the injury occurred but I cheering on Hunter. When I saw that Bakole’s shoulder was injured it took a lot of the joy out of me :(
To be fair to Bakole, most of that fight he only had use of one arm

Dude you wrote your post AFTER the fight.
If you can't see how that is funny then you're even more grumpy than I thought.
Yes, and he only has 12 fights. Lots of potential. It’s not like he is 39-0.
Hunter already beat the breaks off Bakole. It's a good win but hardly gonna set the world on fire. I doubt anyone will look back and think about this post as some amazing prediction.

Easy to laugh after the fight. You were nowhere to be found prior. Didn’t have the balls to make predictions or offer an opinion prior. Typical.

Yep . I went against my own rule which is always know who’s coming out of a great training camp . I knew Bakole took in a ton in the Fury camp in retro spect I also think that’s why Fury boxed extremely well against Whyte .
You think he boxed Whyte well because of Bakole? Dude, every version of Fury beats Whyte.
He certainly passes the eyeball test against marginal opposition that he has fought so far. He has good form good power, size, and Olympic gold pedigree. He certainly looks like a guy Wilder and AJ would steer clear of, and could possibly be part of Fury’s motivation to retire, I believe Yoka is also a Top Rank fighter too yes?
:lol1: :lol1:
People with actual boxing knowledge knew Yoka was never gonna be a serious contender. I've said it before.
They can gift you a bogus olympic gold medal and protect you in the pros but at some point you're gonna have to show what you're made of against guys who fight back in sink or swim type of fights and Yoka just can't swim. He's not built for this.
Hrgovic would have hurt him badly.
Bakole is nothing special, he look like fresher version of Takam for me. But Yoka has no business being nowhere near world level of heavyweight boxing. He got caught with everything Bakole threw on him with his lazy hands.

Bakole was one of Furys main sparring partners for Whyte he’ll be at his best so a win over him if it happens is a huge win . It’ll be either guys best win and it’s a highly underrated fight . If either guy wins in impressive fashion it’s a statement . I’m going Yoka late stoppage ,he seems to look good when it counts .
At one point, I was thinking Bakole looked a bit like Fury, the way he was swinging and using that weight.
