This fight is perfect for both. Chisora is coming from 3 losses back to back and he has no business fighting top guys. Kownacki is coming from 2 losses by stoppage. They will probably also get a decent money for the fight.
They made Martin vs Ortiz PPV ,how is Ruiz vs Ortiz not PPV worthy with the added Kownacki vs Chisora fight ? That fight alone is better then any undercard fight from the last one .
I mean just because they made Martin vs Ortiz PPV doesn't mean it was a PPV worthy card...And it's not just the match up, but PPV worthy also means getting a decent amount of buys to make it worth it.
Ruiz vs Ortiz is a good fight so if they put it on PPV? So be it but just hope it has a good UC.
Chisora stamina has been better but he is worn torn. Good match up on paper and the only fight for each guy they can make money on at this stage of their careers.
Kownacki is funny guy to watch. He was top 10 by the Ring actually, before Helenius finished him, well, twice. His brawl with Arreola was full action.
Yeah, these guys must fight each other, Kownacki, Chisora, Arreola..
OMG, this fight would be amazing, this is the kinda fight I will go to England to watch. Del Boy in a final war at the O2 :boxing: getting chills just thinking about it. WAR Chisora!!
Just fight Avanesayan man.
Hearn said on IFLTV earlier that it doesn't sell out the O2 that fight :lol1:
It's as if he doesn't know we all know he just fought Van Heerden.
Cause Van Heerden and Algieri put so many asses in seats. :lol1:
I literally got my mates 5 tickets for 10 quid for Benn vs Algieri, I think that tells you how many tickets got sold for that fight.
They’re talking about Jose Ramirez who’s rated #1 by the WBO and WBC with Taylor likely vacating. Why on earth would he move up to fight Conor Benn? :lol1:
Kownacki has been an overrated HW on this forum. To me, he is a level below Chisora even at the latter's current age and does not rank in the Top-20. Chisora should have a KO win within 6-8 rounds if not earlier.
I don't disagree with your assessment about Kownacki but he does have wins over: Spilzka, Kiladze, Martin, Washington and Areola. That's a resume better than many in the top 20. His offensive skill set allows him to have some success overwhelming opponents.
The matchup against Helenius is a bad one because Robert can maintain distance and pace and launch his straight lower shots down the pipe. Kownacki doesnt move his head, which means he gets popped.
I expect Chisora to blow through Kownacki but if the Polish fighter can survive the early storm he may be able to had Dereck out and beat him.
