All 3 of those fights that Canelo won were MUCH MUCH closer than the Bivol loss. But Canelo didn't believe in rematches then.
You all claimed that he whooped trout and GGG's ass and that Lara ran therefore none deserved rematches.
He only dropped Trout because of the bogus open scorecards which made him open up. Why didn't he rematch Trout without open scoring?
I call that double standards. Not a single person thought that fight was competitive. But apparently GGG didn't deserve an immediate trilogy and Lara and Trout didn't deserve rematches.
I never claimed that. Nash out is the authority.
Yes, BoxingisGreat, when Nash out calls it, people have to take notice. We must all respect the Great Nash. The Great Nash is truly the greatest of all the Nash's. Nash out.
In any event, if Bivol likes it, I love it! As I said before, I have no problem watching Dimitri tattoo Canelo's face again. :boxing:
As I said yesterday, I'd love to see Bivol make a lot of money in a rematch, even at 168. Other than that, fight wasn't competitive to deserve another go.
It's not authority at all. The reason he says that is because Bivol is open to it. Bivol says he'd consider it if he gets a ton more coin. That tells you nothing was agreed on. I hate calling these crooked belts championships, but only the Champ can demand a rematch.

No it doesn't. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with being the champ. It has to do with money. Bivol wanted the pay day he could only get from Canelo so he agreed to whatever terms Canelo wanted. Jesus Christ, y'all are dumb as shit.
YDKSAB. That's it.
Nobody in the right mind would want to see Canelo/Lara 2. A sure financial failure to face a guy that ran through-out the whole fight.
- - Lady Lara weren't even potty trained.
'Contractual' only applies to the Champ, in case he lost. Challengers can't demand crap, after they lose.
As you can see in my signature, I don't want to be seen as recognizing any of these corrupt belts. I never ever did and never will in a million years.

If what you say is true, then why does Canelo say he is exercising the rematch clause as if he has the authority to do so?

I see what you are saying but it doesn't work that way.
These rematches are for the garbage belts only, and Canelo brought nothing to the table (clout is not a belt). It'd make more sense even if Canelo had a regular belt or something. It's all up to Mr. Bivol if he wants to grant Canelo the pleasure.
Fight wasn't competitive for a rematch.

Anything can be negotiated in a contract. The question is what was agreed upon? Canelo is saying that he is exercising a rematch clause. If his people put that clause in the contract and Bivol agreed to it, then it's a done deal. Maybe since Alvarez is the A side, he has the clout to make such a demand without actually being the champion.

Canelo has earned the right to call the shots. The others you mention simply haven't.
He deserves everything he's got and every advantage he has.
Doesn't matter whether you like it.
If you want to do what a Canelo does, then do what Canelo did. It's not as easy as it looks.
I would ko you and rashad lee at the same time kid
Show me 3 different stages of your career, amateur or pro..... And in a boxing ring I would beg to differ.
You might be able to do something, how am I to know?
But I do know that the odds of that are slim, very slim.
See ya Slim. ...........Rockin'
This would only be a valid argument if the fight was close or if Canelo got robbed.
He didn't. If we wants to get sonned again, I say let him. Who cares?
You just hate blacks smh
You've listened to the know nothins. Either it is a respectable person or not. It has nothing to do with the color of that persons skin.
What does that now make you, 0-3 with your assumptions of me?
Piss off! ....................Rockin':boxing:

- - Look, we get U a runner/stinker lover, and yes, GGG did get a rematch that he tried to duck, therefore don't deserve a trilogy when Canelo's been frying bigger fish and setting records.
