Yeah, I agree. It wouldn't have turn out well for Canelo. In addition, in the Bivol fight one can easily tell that Dmitry was carrying Canelo. Not once did he ever turn up or press for the knockout.
He should have because it nearly cost him the fight. By the tenth round Alvarez was completely spent and ready to go but Bivol just simply chose to barely coast to a decision victory.
If Dmitry could have done all that; Then It's safe to say that Beterbiev would have demolished him.
After the fight Bivol gave interview to russian media and said that he could have done more but wasnt sure if canelo was really gassed out or pretending to catch Bivol with counter, in the rematch I believe Bivol will be more aggressive and may KO pednelo
Imagine what would have happened. Beterbiev would have smoked your ginger idol

He ducked Thurman now? That's hilarious Bud wasn't even at 147 when Thurman was in his prime. He was calling out spence back then but Spence was the only one complaining that he wasn't in the same weight class. Signing w a promoter means you're ducking? Did Fury and Wilder duck each other? Explain this.
Yeah, a former Jr MW champion won’t fight Beterbiev. Let’s crucify him. After GGG, he is going to cherrypick Dmitry Bivol again.
Meanwhile Crawford finally just got his first career-defining win vs Shawn Porter at 34 years old. Crawford isn’t stupid either. He hid behind Bob Arum when Spence, Thurman, Porter were in their prime.
He was still less of a favorite vs. Porter than Canelo was vs. Bivol. And instead of choking he won the fight in spectacular fashion and made history by KOing Porter. Something that a prime Brook and prime Thurman and prime Spence could not do.
Imagine what would have happened. Beterbiev would have smoked your ginger idol
Few things frustrate me more in boxing than people stating “fighter y beat fighter x, ergo fighter z will beat x even harder”.
It doesn’t work like that at all. The whole point of fighter y beating x in this instance is that y had a unique skill set tailor made for beating x. Or as you hear often in boxing parlance, “he was all wrong for him”.
This is not to say that fighter z can’t ALSO beat x, and that he WOULDN’T indeed win harder. But the argument upon which this supposition resta is fundamentally flawed by virtue of the fact that fighter z brings a different set of attributes to that table; attributes that might not take fighter X out of his comfort zone.
He is not fighting Beterbiev. He isn't stupid. Neither is Hearn and Reynoso. If he thought Bivol was bad, Betebiev would curb stomp him.

If Canelo fought or ever fights Beterbiev it would further show how much of a badass he is and how he is one of the very few boxers who are taking on real challenges that he can lose. Just like when he fought the likes of Mayweather, Bivol, Lara, GGG, Jacobs, Trout, just to name a few.
Keep criticizing one of the only handful of fighters of this era who are taking on the best fighters of every weight class he has been in.
In the future, Canelo will be praised for taking on literally every relevant fighter he could fight in his era. Except for that lame-resume-having mooch whose name rhymes with Desleepiest Yawndrade.

I agree but Sean actually has a degree in broadcast journalism, which makes it bizarre. I understand interviewers having favorites but keep it neutral and professional in your interviews at least and don't let it show.
He makes trolling headlines for Fighthype, mischaracterizing the guys he's interviewing. That's just cringe and made me avoid his stuff. For example, he was interviewing Josh Taylor, and he asked him about Crawford (pre Jack Catterall fight), and Taylor said, "I can't give a fuck about other fights right now, not about the Crawford fight or any other fight, because I have to focus 100 percent on Catterall." The headline was this: "JOSH TAYLOR SAYS HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT CRAWFORD." That's a very misleading headline and causes people to think he was talking shit about Crawford or that there's bad blood, which there absolutely isn't.
He then made one about Bivol, saying "BIVOL MOCKS CANELO FANS." Then the video was of Bivol saying "Feliz Cinco De Mayo!!!" He wasn't mocking or trolling; he was respecting the holiday.
There are just numerous instances of this type of BS and also he asks these "edgy" questions that is nothing more than trolling. Like you said, for someone with a journalism degree, it's absolute cringe.

Most of these youtube interviewers are, the don't keep it professional at all.

Sean is a **** interviewer along with that Canelo groupie on Fighthype. I remember him asking Bivol about Canelo's Bugatti ffs. And Sean has clear biases and favorites when doing his interviews along with his shit questions.

Absolutely. I couldn't agree more.

I couldn't handle all this talk about Canelo beating Beterbiev and even Usyk. What's that guys name? Sean Zittel? From Fighthype? That guy was riding Canelo hard, going around saying that Canelo would destroy Beterbiev. For someone who's been in boxing for so long, he says a lot of dumb ****. Even Gvozdyk was saying Canelo beats Beterbiev, but I suppose that doesn't mean much when he was also saying that Beterbiev doesn't hit hard. lol Come on man! What is this nonsense? Beterbeiv stops him just like everyone else, and we're supposed to believe that Beterbiev doesn't hit hard.
Some of these people man ... too much cocaine? Wounded Pride? Fanboying to the extreme? I don't understand how people can deny the obvious.

Beterbiev outboxed and dropped usyk in the amateurs twice and got robbed. Bivol will get wrecked.
I believe if Bivol fights the fight of his life (being very mobile and keep Artur at bay) he wins by decision. But this is very hard fight for Bivol.
Beterbiev is very underrated boxer in terms of his boxing skills. He was part of national russian team for years and just consider the fact that in the olimpic games (don't remember the year) he was told to move up and compete in higher weight class where he fought Usyk despite the fact he was way smaller at the time. You probably saw the fight. Many people thought he got robbed in that fight against Usyk.
that being said Beterbiev has tremendous skillset not only power trust me guys, I saw a lot of interviews of his former trainers in russian team they all were saying he was monster in amateurs

Yes. Gvozdyk was ahead on my scorecard. Beterbiev's most punches were in last rounds.
Post your score. Obviously the 86-85 on mine doesn’t include the last round with the knockdowns.
Imagine what would have happened. Beterbiev would have smoked your ginger idol
- - What if U was a turnip?
Not a stretch to think nothing would matter.
Canelo frustrates Beterbiev. UNTIL BETERBIEV KNOCKS HIM OUT.
Beterbiev hasn't Bivol's skillset. His Olympic background doesn't change that. Gvozdyk was boxing his ears off until the KO. Canelo by decision or Beterbiev by KO.
You didn't watch that fight did you? :lol1:
