I have told you many times Canelo would lose to Bivol.
He is too small to compete at 175.
But, be my guests, open 10 crazy topics, like Canelo vs Usyk, Canelo vs Beterbiev, Canelo Vs Godzilla..
Maybe you will learn to stfu in the future casual. If Bivol had a killer mindset and unloaded the clip he could have stopped Canelo. We will need to wait for Benavidez to do that.
Yeah right motherfucker! Everyone and their mama had Bivol picked for this fight. You fake fair weather bandwagon fan! Since Canelo has lost now all of you hypocrites are both bashing and trashing him.
Real boxing fans don't turn on their favorite fighters once they lose. That's a sign of both cowardice and weakness. Every time one of your heroes lose you guys all run and duck for cover,.

To be frank I thought bivol would win after seeing him hit heavybag. I was thinking nel o will respect the power and won't be able to do what he normally does
Well count me in among those stupid casuals who see this an upset because given both Alvarez' resume and championship experience; Canelo was clearly the better prizefighter on paper. Which is why he was installed as a 6-1 favorite to win this fight.

Lol, why should I give Canelo props for "taking a challenge". 80% people here, including odds felt like Bivol was no challenge.
Enough with that damage control, I don`t give Canelo props for anything in this fight.
Canelo took that fight because he and Reynoso were stupid enough to think Bivol was just another easy win for Canelo.
6-1 favourite based on promotional hype that even the oddsmakers fell for. Bivol rarely loses rounds, is leagues better than Smith and Plant, and is much longer than Canelo.
For the oddsmakers to have Bivol 6-1 leads me to believe they sucked into the hype of Canelo. 168lb division has always been devoid of talent, that's why Canelo looked like Hulk smashing Plant and Smith but barely beat Jacobs and in the eyes of many lost to Golovkin twice at Middleweight.
I think the Kovalev fight made people think his size wasn't an issue just because he knocked out Kovalev. When even in that fight, it was clear he couldn't get past Kovalev's jab.

These is because you rather believe in media hype.
These odds are just crazy. people that make them don`t even watch boxing.
Man, I have never felt like Canelo would beat Bivol. I actually follow Bivol`s career, you know.

old timer here lol i had Bivol as my pick after watching him beat guys like joe and barra ,pascal theses guys might not have the skills as canelo but punch harder and are very big guys . the size played a big factor in this one if i was canelo i would stay at 168 175 might be to much for him. i cant rember what round it was Bivol just push canelo and bully him let him know iam the bigerman i was like holy crap he about walk down canelo and knock him out lol
Yeah, I alluded this in multiple posts since the fight was signed. I thought that there's was no way that DAZN was going to lose out on the GGG rematch money, so had 0 confidence that judges would give the fight to Bivol, unless Bivol completely washed him. I thought all close rounds would go to Canelo, regardless of what Bivol did
The GGG was already agreed upon; it smelled like corruption. Thankfully, Bivol beat him decisively enough where the judges couldn't even rob him
It felt like Strum vs ODH to be where you have this younger, stronger, and bigger undefeated fighter against the cash cow. And the cash cow is already signed to face his next opponent in an undisputed championship. I think Bivol might have been a little more dominate than even Strum was and the judges couldn't give Canelo rounds he was getting outland 2 to 1 in.
That last few fights for Canelo have given people the impression that Canelo is even stronger and better at 168 and 175. Everyone ignores that BJS and Plant had some success despite ultimately getting stopped.
This is a classic example of why there is weight classes for a reason, respect for canelo for trying to be great unlike charlo, benavides and Spence
I notice you left Bud out of there. Same will happen to him if he moves to 154, but might end in a KO.

Lot of after timers on here now, there was only a few of us thinking bivol was in with a real chance
But I expect everyone to be an expert now who "always knew" bivol would get it done
Not me, my friend. I have always felt that way. You can check my posts.
not really, I think a lot of it was just out of respect for Canelo and what he has been able to do but he met his match moving up in weight and was cleanly humbled for taking on more than he could handle
I Knew Bivol was going to outbox and bust Canelo up but I was surprised the judges actually gave Bivol the decision.

i think this is what most felt before the fight, especially with everything that's going on in ukraine, a russian fighter just derailed the face of boxing in america. this outcome was hard to imagine.
