Did you just compare snooker to boxing? Which Olympic sports are you referring to? How many athletes in a contact sport perform better at 36+ than the version of themselves in their late 20's, early 30's? I'm sure there's a few exceptions but the overwhelming majority of athletes in a physical sport won't be performing better at that age. What I'm saying is you can't say with proof that 36 year old Floyd would be beaten by a younger floyd. And nobody is going to convince me 23 year old floyd beats 36 year old floyd.. For both the Trout fight and the Floyd fight. For Trout he was 172 and for Floyd he was 165.

Floyd was a well preserved 36 who was at the height of his cherrypicking career by the time he fought Canelo. A guy fighting that many easy fights. He had one more in him definitely.
