Yup
Now take this **** to the lounge
It's okay. The only stuff I have to ***** about are missed opportunities for what is purely subjective but there's not much high point either. Just a fine and enjoyable show.
I would have preferred if one of the three Sci-Fi's featuring dudes in Power Ranger-esque suits never took off their helmet.
I didn't mention it with Mando or Bobba when folks were talking about those shows but this is the third time I've been disappointed by a subjective direction decision made by the crew of a show and it's the same bit. I don't need or even want to see Mando, Bobba, or MC without their helmet. I don't need to see full face shots, their emotions, none of that bull.
Cold calculated killer with a heart is the formula here. Every one of these dudes are cold killers doing something moral for reasons the show explains as it goes on. Every one of them. When you show their face you've made the decision to be more heart felt. When you don't you've made the decision this character is mostly as badass who shows his morality only when he has to.
Excuse me but this sounds like toxic masculinity. It's important that Disney and Paramount reach out to the female and gender qveer audience by subverting things men like.
