This was the greatest version of Whyte the world has ever seen. He added being a world class southpaw to his list of skills. The world has to wake up, Fury, Brian Sutherland, Charlie Zelenoff, and Hulk Hogan are the real 4 Kings.
No boxer that has ever lived beats prime Fury. Nobody in their right mind challenges Brian Sutherland to a street fight, nobody would step into Astro Burger and fight Zelenoff behind the counter on a greasy surface, and when Hulk Hogan starts wagging his finger, you better run. Cue bellyaches :lol1: !!!!
Fury is number one right now. There's no debate.
From a career perspective I have Joshua ahead. There's a greater body of work - but it's all pretty subjective. Joshua still has the deeper resume, Fury has a couple of signature wins.
I still think they need to fight. But Usyk will have something to say about that.
I've never rated Whyte but he's usually mentioned as being one of AJ's best wins and now the same people that predicted Whyte to KO Fury are saying it's not a good win? Fan boys are weirdos.
There has never been a thread made on this site, were people in mass are claiming that Whyte is one of Joshua's best wins.
Whyte is a good win, but not Joshua's best win. And lets remember? Joshua was the first fighter to beat Whyte.
He has been beaten also by Povetkin. And been bashed about for years.
Anthony Joshua in his next fight, is facing a fighter who many pick to beat Tyson Fury.
If Joshua beats Usyk, he has the best heavyweight win of the past 20 years on his resume.
Usyk is at his peak, unbeaten, Olympic Champion, undisputed cruiser weight world champion, and Current WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO World Heavyweight Champion.
I never said he was afraid of Whyte. Until he fights Usyk/AJ then he can't get any credit because the people he has fought are garbage.
Gypsy queen don't get no credit for beating trash like Wallin, Wilder and Whyte.
If he beats AJ you will no doubt say AJ is a bum who got beat by a cruiserweight and a small fat fella. If he beats Usyk you will say Usyk is just a cruiserweight.
Fact is that he has now beaten reigning champs Klitschko and Wilder 3 times as well as guys like Chisora (twice), and Whyte who were long talked up by AJ fans as great opposition to have on a resume.
It's now certain that AJ fans cannot use the resume card against Fury.
Sooooooo..........
Are Fury fans claiming Whyte as a good win all of a sudden ?

Joshua still knocked out a better version of Whyte in my opinion.
A Whyte that could actually move a bit faster also. I think Whyte has gone backwards since that fight.
I know that statement does not make much sense, but? Go and watch his fight vs Joshua.
Whyte was more flexible, fluid, and his speed was distinctly superior.
Anthony Joshua's next fight is against Usyk in a mega fight 'That is much bigger than tonight's fight'
Tyson Fury done well tonight, great knock-out.
Whyte was fighting with one arm v AJ.
Yep, that is my point.
They kept saying how great Whyte was, now they will give Fury zero credit.
They'll say anything. Whyte went from 'the most improved heavyweight' to being on the decline since his AJ loss after Fury had one of his easiest nights with him.

I'm not seeing any evidence to suggest Stiverne is better than those guys tbh, I would not expect him to go 3-0 vs Whyte, Wallin and Del Boy. He was pushing 40 the times Wilder fought him too.
Sigh.............
Fury's resume is nothing to brag about.....in any era.
Trust me.
It's hysterical how Fury fans elevate wins over Wilder and Whyte all of a sudden
Don't get the need to drag another fighter down just for your favorite to look better. Joshua has good resume and so does Fury. Joshua's probably has more depth in a sense of fighting more contenders (which is, I think, a bit underrated trait of HW champion in this case).
No
Whyte, 12L and Otto
Cmon, bruh :lol1:

Duh
Obviously Wilder could have beaten him since he did
WTF
Those other names are just you being ridiculous.
I'm being ridiculous in saying that Wlad could have beaten Stiverne....what? :lol1:
It's amazing how we all agree particular fighters are trash, but when some of you guys' favorite fighters beat these bums, they are all time greats for it. How does that make any sense? Anyone with a fully functioning brain knew the outcome of this fight years ago. I gave Whyte no chance
Fans gonna be fans
The guy that actually beat him twice, plus Wlad and Whyte. He may well lose to Wallin or Chisora too.

So, I guess you can stop pretending how great resume Joshua has | BoxingScene Community
