Klitschkos also knew how to use the reach advantage, which is why they made other guys look so bad.
This is true, but Fury I think is a lot tougher than the Klitschkos. Tougher than Wlad at least.
This era isn’t great, but it’s better than the Klitschko era for sure!
Most of the reason why Fury is hard to beat because of his height and reach and he knows how to use it. Plus when you try to get inside, Fury knows how to tie up and use rough tactics against you. That’s the real reason why he’s undefeated.

Why do people use Alts on here? Usually, they've become a laughing stock on their Main account/s, proven that they don't know ish about Boxing. How bad must your reputation be on a Main account, to have to come on an Alt and continue to downplay Tyson Fury's achievements? No idea who this tool is, but how sad can you get? Seek help OP. The Gypsy King reigns supreme!
This is my only account. I can promise you that. I think Fury is very good. Hopefully he fights the winner of AJ and Usyk. Obviously he wins that and he is hands the best of this era. I was just frustrated when I started this post because we only have maybe a few fights left involving Fury and Whyte was just awful and I don’t think it had anything to do with Fury. I just think Whyte isn’t that good. So I just feel like it was a wasted fight for Fury
Fury is just on a completely different level to all other heavyweights. He just makes everyone else look bad. I know this will be controversial but the only other boxers in the modern era that would have a chance against Fury are prime Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Lewis and Bowe!
Fury, Joshua, Usyk, Ortiz, Joyce, Sanchez would be good heavyweights in every era.
You want me to believe a midget like Frazier would trouble Tyson Fury. Really?
Some people don't seem to understand why weight classes are a thing in boxing. Cruiserweight wasn't created for no reason. The fighters who weighed 200-215 in same-day weigh-in's in the past, today they would be Cruiserweights. They'll shrink down to 200lbs for the scales and rehydrate to 210-215 in the ring.
CW was created after HW's were getting bigger and more athletic. When prime Ali was dominating the HW division, he was among the biggest/tallest HW's at 6'3" and an average of 215-218lbs, and his movement and speed made him dangerous for his size. Fast forward to 2022, you now have 6'6"-6'9" HW's who can move about as good as a 168-175 fighter.
Agreed.
It is a bizarre post by the op. But I also think we have a generation of boxing fans who watch heavyweights the same way they will watch a welterweight who is obviously comparatively speaking a manlet but even so are surprised when the big men get knocked down and out in big fights.
In short, the don't know what they're looking at.
People always seem surprised when they get f.ucked up and stopped. Hmm I wonder why that 250 pound dude had his soul separated with a single uppercut from that 270 pound man?
Yeah man. That is a mystery for the ages.
Everyone is in their prime/their best too, or undefeated. The HW's of this era are fighting each other when it matters. This is what fans ask for, and the heavyweights are doing it.
Prime Fury beat prime/undefeated Wilder.
Prime Usyk beat prime AJ.
Prime AJ beat prime/undefeated Whyte.
Prime Sanchez beat prime/undefeated Ajagba.
Prime AJ beat prime/undefeated Parker.
Prime Wilder beat prime/undefeated Ortiz.
Prime Ruiz upset prime/undefeated AJ. Instead of swerving Ruiz, AJ immediately rematched him and won.
Past prime Wlad took on prime/undefeated Fury and AJ.
The next few fights that we know of? Fury just blasted Whyte and...
1. Parker is taking on Prime/undefeated Joe Joyce.
2. Usyk vs AJ II, winner will likely fight Tyson Fury for all 4 belts + Ring belt. For the first time ever, a 4-belt undisputed HW champion can happen.
3. Decent match between Ortiz vs Ruiz. Two Ring top 10 HW's.
4. Decent HW fight between undefeated Ring #9 ranked Filip Hrgovic and Olympic Silver medalist, also undefeated Zhilei Zhang.
Heavyweights and Canelo are carrying boxing right now. Everyone else is letting fights marinate until their opponent is 40 years old, or growing out of divisions without fighting the best. Or the best are waiting for big names to be 1 fight away from retirement.
No other division has their top 10 fighters consistently fighting eachother like the HW's.
theres nobody out here who can beat fury.
wilder had the closest chance with his unreal power.
you need a guy who can close the distance with fury, get inside and break him down. prime holyfield and mike tyson would be good match ups.
whyte was a ****** trying to fight him tall from the outside and got beat to a pulp. trying to fight fury tall is stupid, nobody is taller than him or has a longer reach, that is why wlad got completely schooled and completely outboxed. he is too loose, too fast for his massive size. you need someone who can get down low and close the distance and make it rough. that guy doesnt exist in todays division. Usyk is arguably more skilled but he is too small and dont have the power
I agree, and I do think Usyk it the hardest fight for Fury right now.
Agree. I think most of Tysons top 10 wins would be top champions today. Whyte could barely move and throw a decent punch, it was pathetic. I would pick Tony Tubbs to knock him out within a few rounds. Of course casuals will get carried away now and called him the GOAT because he beat a bum. Thats the times we live in sadly. Fury has good skills but he is a very sloppy fighter. 7.5 out of 10 fighter beating up 5/10s.
Fury, Joshua, Usyk, Ortiz, Joyce, Sanchez would be good heavyweights in every era.
You want me to believe a midget like Frazier would trouble Tyson Fury. Really?
Why, because you are jealous of Fury! Prime Fury could beat prime Tyson, prime Holyfield and prime Bowe in a 1 vs 3 fight. Different level. With Fury we have witnessed a once in a lifetime fighter/entertainer. With Mike Tyson, we experienced a bum bully who crumbled like a ******* whenever he fought anyone half decent. Nash out - Nash is a boxing expert.
Whyte could hardly move mate, and was fatigued by round 3 in a slow paced fight. Which proves to me that all this sport science, and supplements these fighters today are taking is overrated. I don't think these guys are in the condition that could rival past heavyweights.
Tyson Fury has not been anywhere near as entertaining as Mike Tyson. Inside or outside the ring.
Mike Tyson is still ranked as a greater Champion, has made more titles defenses and was Undisputed Champion.

Fury, Usyk, Wilder, AJ, Sanchez, Ortiz would look good in any era. Due to their size and skills. They are not just big boxers. These guys are athletes. Historically, big/tall HW’s have been goofy unskilled motherfckrs.
These guys are more than that. Look at how Fury, Usyk, and Sanchez move.
Fury, when he trains properly, can beat any HW in history. And I mean let’s not alter size or shrink any fighter or make any fighter taller or heavier. 6’9” Tyson Fury, when he takes training seriously, can beat any HW in history. If you want to bring up his fights vs Cunningham and Wallin, we can dissect any resume then. Any resume. And point out even worse performances by these so called GOAT heavyweights who are way too good for the current heavyweights.
Usyk too. The guy is a boxing genius. And he moves like freaking 130lb Mayweather.
Wilder is dangerous vs anyone in any round.
Sanchez moves about as good as you can move as a big man.
This is one of the best and most enjoyable HW eras in history. It’s full of talent, power, upsets, athleticism. It’s crazy as a boxing fan, to look at the HW division and call it the worst ever. Just because it lacks Americans doesn’t make it the worst.
How many fights in 2021 were better than Fury-Wilder III? Which upset was bigger than Usyk over AJ in 2021? How can you not like Frank Sanchez masterclass performance over Ajagba? How about the action-packed rematch between Parker and Chisora?
HW should not just have won FOTY in 2021, but also division of the year. It’s far from the worst. Look at 135, no one’s fighting eachother. 147? Everyone in their mid 30s decided now is the time to start fighting eachother.
Agreed.

Isn't that the truth? It has to be the weakest division in years. I am personally embarrassed by the heavyweight division right about now. Dillian Whyte's performance was beyond shameful. How any boxing fan thought that he was somehow better than Deontay Wilder I'll never understand.

to my credit, here is a history of my stating that Whyte is trash for years. Check the date on these.
frontrunner for Dillian Whyte??? Who the f'k is Whyte that people are lining up to fight him???
cmon now. whyte isn't good. Fury beats him quicker than Wilder lol
Wilder would destroy whyte’s life. You can’t be serious lol
Whyte is trash. And he also looks the part.
