The rankings currently;
1. Terrence Crawford
2. Errol Spence
3. Yordenis Ugas
4. Jaron Ennis
5. Vegil Ortiz
6. Keith Thurman
7. Eimantas Stanionis
8. David Avanesayan
9. Radzhab Butaev
10. Conor Benn
Conor Benn is currently ranked at #10. I think he’s shown now that he’s a level above the unranked guys and the fringe contenders.
The logical fight most of us want to see is Benn vs Avanesayan, which would be #8 vs #10. That fight makes sense but it seems clear Benn doesn’t want to take that fight.
Eddie Hearn mentioned on IFLTV that the Stanionis-Buatev winner is an option but I think the chances of that fight happening are close to 0%.
So, out of the rest of the top 10, who should be next?
Or will it be another unranked fighter?
Eddie Hearn is talking about the likes of Amir Khan and Adrien Broner next.

Can’t see Benn beating any of those fighters and certainly can’t see Hearn letting him fight any of them either.
not only Benn, but Ortiz and Ennis. These men have been pros for 6 years and none of them have fought a top 10 opponent. This is BS. And their fan base defend this nonsense. Just as I said in another thread today, DLH by his 5th year had fought, Sweet Pea, Chavez, and Hernandez. SRL by his 6th year had fought Hearns, Benitez, and Duran twice. These dudes today are protecting their 0. Fans need to stop accepting this BS
100% agree.
All 3 are as bad as each other and fans of each use the others weak opposition to justify the guy they’re a fan it’s weak opposition.
All 3 need to step up and fight other top 10 guys.
But that’s sadly how modern day boxing is for the most part.

There's also zero chance that Thurman fights Benn because he's at the stage where he expects to get gifted a title shot. Ortiz/Benn are both on DAZN, but it remains to be seen if Ortiz stays at 147.
Amir doesn’t need to be ranked. He’s better than everyone on that top 10 list. Conor isn’t ready to fight a boxer as highly skilled and legendary as, Amir Khan.
