Looking at canelo get ready for the bivol fight he looks like a runningback or rugby player instead of boxer. Looks like an irish mexican mike tyson. knowing he 5'8 dude has to be 200 how does he even make 160-168 who knows
That means he's not a natural 154 lber, so there's no point in saying that he is.
Maybe if you READ my post. You could save yourself some time writing things that I already said.
160 i think. He is quick for a 168 ponder but at 175 he has the handspeed adavntage over all those guys. However he gives up alot of heighr normsllyh. Canelo is wide and has a big bone structire though.
If Floyd does not want to trade and you are slower than he is you have no chance to brawl because of his brilliant speed and timing its up to him how he wants to fight, I don't care if you are king kong if you cannot catch him you cannot brawl, he has proved this numerous times, especially both his rematches, he uses his ability and the rules when Floyd wants to box at range there is nothing you can do about it.
You guys always come up with what the opponent didn't do then apply anything you can attach to that as the reason your guy lost, like weight gloves ref commission etc, its a long list of excuses for losing to Floyd created by the losers, and in the process of looking for fox holes they don't see how brilliant of a boxer Mayweather really was, emotion and hate distorts reality..
Mommy Mayweather is ever vigilant.
Our fighting weight is the lightest we can get as a young man. After that it’s the lightest you can achieve with GREAT DISCIPLINE. Canelo is a natural 154 with great discipline at that weight. As a mature man. He looks to be truly in shape at 164-168. Anything bigger he’s INTENTIONALLY ADDING WEIGHT. That’s not smart but he’s not your typical boxer looking only at the money. He’s a LEGACY FIGHTER. To bad their a dying breed.
Canelo can't make 154 or 160 anymore.

- - I seen l'l floydy ragdolled by Castillo, mullered by tyny Jesus Chavez, and DQed by Judah and Maidana in any fair boxing jurisdiction not named his hometown.
Why U never say what grade U in?
Your example is stupid. Canelo tried to outbox May and failed. He couldn't brawl bcs he was drained. He doesn't outbox his opponents anymore. He walks on and outbrawl them. He isn't drained anymore. And, even best fighters at 168-175 are nowhere near to Floyd in terms of skills. Canelo knows what he does.

My example is correct, and it exposes the flaws in his game 'That I think are still there'.
They are still there, but Alvarez has not been put in that same situation.
Alvarez tried to out box Mayweather, got out boxed, could not react or even turn the match into a fight.
Because he lacks gears.
He looks more comfortable at 175 than 160. He packs on muscle upon muscle bcs his body type is suitable for that. I think your last hope is some diseases after his retirement. Bad news for you, he won't have neither brain diseases nor muscle diseases. :lol1: He will move on healthy and rich.
I am talking about his boxing career. His weight draining tactics, are having accumulative affect.
Because those tactics have a accumulative affect on all fighters who want to be the big man.
He is already struggling in my opinion.
I watched a interview with Peter Fury early today. And he stated 'That sometimes when you are getting out boxed, you just have to accept the situation and think? Right lets just make a fight of this'.
Canelo Alvarez when he fought Floyd Mayweather Junior was getting out boxed, Mayweather was operating at a level of comprehension that was Alien to Alvarez. Alvarez in that situation with being the big man, should of thrown caution to the wind and turned the boxing match into a fight.
Alvarez was unable to do this, he did not have the gears or ability. And this was due to his weight draining tactics back firing.
If a fighter puts Alvarez in this situation again, or even if he is getting out worked. I am not sure he can react, he has never shown that he can adapt to this sort of challenge in my opinion.
If Alvarez is to lose a fight, I don't think it will be down to a opponent being better than him skill for skill. It will be due to lack of gears, and endurance.

Did you put on your pink lipstick and matching leotards before jerking it to your favorite sweaty Canelo poster today?
Canelo is genetically too gifted to jump between weights. His wide and thick body looks got created for boxing. He can have some problems at CW against a skilled fighter. He would be too stocky like a bowling ball :lol1: It's not Canelo's fault that he was born with a wide framed body.
This guys in love.

He is no giant, I think you are going way over the top.
Alvarez packs on muscle upon muscle, his frame is not as dense as you are making out.
His weight draining tactics, will and are having a accumulative affect. I think Alvarez is struggling already.
.
152-155 has been his best weight so far. We’ll see how he does at 175. I don’t rate that Kovalev fight at all. Ward owned his soul long before Canelo got to him.
Split the difference and I'll say 175?
Height and reach won't be there BUT considering his natural weight is roughly 190 anyways.
He could probably be 175 with no effort in weight loss.
Maximum performance though? 168 for sure. He's truthfully unbothered by anyone in the division.
160-168.
I would say 168 is his optimal weight i.e Where he is no longer weight draining himself dramatically.
At 160, he is still weight draining himself extensively to be the big man.
175 he is comfortable.
So as you can see, for the most part of his career. Alvarez has been weight draining himself to be the big man.
I think sooner or later these tactics will back fire on his performance. They already did vs Mayweather, but what I am referring to his a accumulative affect on his fitness currently.
- - Canelo Franchise Weight, what ever weight he wanna be.
I suggest he won't ever be at 168 again. No stars at that weight and more accomplishments at LH/Cruiser before retirement.
Logically it should be 160 but he's looked really good at 168. I think the tradeoff of a bit less movement for a bit more power has been beneficial to him.
So I'll say 168.
