Fury wasn't that great in Wilder 3. Wilder 2 version beats Usyk badly.
Correct (except I think Fury's style in Wilder 2 would need a big adjustment v Usyk). Just because it was a great fight doesn't mean Fury was great. In fact I think it means the opposite - it was a great fight because Fury was poor.
Realistically... Wilder 1, Schwarz, Wallin, Wilder 2, Wilder 3... over a nearly 4 year spell. There was one great performance in there and it was Wilder 2.
Before that you're going back over 3 years to find his best performance v Klitschko. 7 years, 8 fights, 2 noteworthy performances.
That's the opposite of consistency. Against a run of mainly pretty ordinary fighters. How people think he beats anyone in history is beyond me. Maybe he does, but has he ever proved that he can win a sequence of important fights against different styles? Absolutely not.

So how great will he be in his next fight?
I have told people, that all of Fury's remaining fights at elite level 'Could well be a might struggle'.
Tyson Fury as Kronk Fury is not hard to solve, or find inside the ring. But it does seem difficult for his opponents to break him.
Usyk is not going to break Fury, I don't think he has the power or the sustained aggression. The method of how to beat Kronk Fury, is to break him. Because that is the situation Fury will create in fights.
A war of attrition. If you cannot break him, then you are not going to win.
Whyte will most likely do well for awhile, then get overhauled. In a messy chaotic fight.
Fury any way he wants. Usyk is great, but Fury is the best all-combat fighter (tied with Stone Cold Steve Austin) that there has ever been. We are lucky to be living in the time of Fury. Nash out.
The Fury who fought Wilder, in their last two fights would beat Usyk.
When you bring subjects up like this? I consider what current form Fury is in.
I do have a theory, that both Wilder & Fury acted like some sort of a smoke screen for each other.
It is unclear, how Tyson Fury will perform against another elite level fighter beside's Wilder.
The last time Fury fought a half decent fighter besides Wilder, and that was Ottin Wallin 'Tyson Fury was busted up real good'.
Again, this is just a theory of mind. I don't 100% back this theory, it is just something to think about.
Dillian Whyte is ether going to expose this smoke screen effect, proving my theory or? Tyson Fury will disapprove the theory, via the violent destruction of Whyte etc.
