Why can't that fight be made? Both guys need a signature career defining legendary win,& I think kid chocolate has grown into his frame finally. Lets see this, this would be legendary
I'm surprised some posters on here are calling Inoue overated because of a close fight with Donaire.
IMO Inoue is a top 3 P4Per and it'd be asking way too much to ask Chocolatito to fight him.
I love Chocolatito but he can’t win this one.
he’s done so much anyway, he has nothing to prove and would be a stupid fight to take.
I doubt he would take it anyway. Same reason he never calls for a Rungvisai rematch and neither does his team. I think he knows Rungvisai just has his number and will outgun him again, it happens. So with that in mind, I also doubt they would move up to fight someone like Inoue.
Roman Gonzalez is seriously outgunned and outsized here. Im not going to use Sor fight as reference because him and Inoue are nothing alike but Gonzalez is visibly slower and running on thin ice. Inoue is all wrong for him at this point but as a massive fan of both fighters, id love to see it.
i think ive realised inoue is overrated, donaire kinda exposed him, and i think hes declining physically , hard training camps eventually catch up to you, its subtle but i do notice it, and thats a large part of his style
No I think Chocolate can win that,Inoue as excellent as he is seems a bit overrated to me & Chocolate looks a bit underrated. I think Chocolate can outbox him if he manages to avoid getting ktfo, hes grown into his frame now to me at least.
Ftr unpopular opinion I had Estrada just edging the fight v him. But impossible to say 100% who truly won,& styles make fights, Chocolate is the better boxer imo & matches well v Inoue because Inoue can be beat as old Donaire almost did.
Innoue should have won that fight by knock out.
Thats with a broken eye socket.
innoue will knock out estrada by the 4th round next fight.
Chocolatito is better "boxer" but Inoue is like unstoppable force with his vicious body shots. Inoue is very offensive-minded fighter. Also, he is bigger man. I think Inoue beats everyone at the same size, not just Chocolatito. This fight would be like Rungvisai fight but just worse.
I don't see Inoue as similar to Rungvasai because Rungvasai reminds me of a superfly version of Pac at super bantamweight or super feather
(I've never seen a fighter besides Rungvasai with both hands being almost identical in punching since Pac used to fight like that in lower divisions & destroy because of it(that was when I was in awe of Pac v Barrera,Morales)
I think Inoue is too much in love with his power & his comp hasn't been as strong as Gonzalez has,kid Chocolate learned to fight smarter after getting ko,but I think after Inoue had his face broken
,he has gone right back to the same thing v lesser opponents & I see this fight being an absolute war where whoever wins would have to overcome the exact opposite, Gonzalez would have to overcome a power onslaught,Inoue would have to overcome being outboxed in many rds imo..
i Just would love to see this fight,I don't think anyone else is a challenge for Inoue besides Choco or SSR himself
Lets be honest nobody gave Nonito a shot and he almost won had Inoue not channeled Rocky & Bruce Lee & held on with a broken face.
Inoue erases him from existence. I think OP wants to see Chocolatito in trouble.

Inoue is likely facing Donaire in a unification in April.
If Chocolatito moves up, he should fight Casimero. That would get him the WBO belt and put him in position to challenge the winner of Inoue vs Donaire II, who would have the WBA, WBC, IBF, Ring, and lineal titles.
Its amazing how much a career full of killers Chocolate has had til now,but it feels unfair to ask him to go up another full division,
I think its not unfair at all to ask Inoue to come back down maybe for a cw even?(don't know where hes at on weight making ability these days?)
But I probably am in the minority that gives kid Chocolate a solid shot at the win,he looks the better boxer to me just nowhere near the power. And Inoue got his face broken v Donaire already too,so that plays into my assessment.
