Who do you pick to win if they fought in their primes at 135 pounds, Both are explosive power punchers.
And similar height, Teofimo Lopez says he is 5'8 and half and Shane Mosley is 5'9
Mosley's Lightweight resume is pure garbage. Lopez has a way better resume at Lightweight than Mosley.
Who would win? I'd go with Shane but in all honesty Lopez beating him wouldn't shock me all that much.
Its weird how shane mosley was voted in first ballot hall of famer, and is an admitted juice head steroid abuser lol, and then looking at his resume he doesnt have any huge wins other than his roided win against oscar, so they basically let shane in for losing to big names? Because he never unified at lightweight or fought the top guys.
tim bradley has been passed up twice for hall of fame, and id say he has better resume than mosley in terms of wins and titles. But i guess fighting big names and losing counts more in mosleys case.
i didnt follow boxing when he was at lightweight. Can someone tell me why he never unified? He defended his IBF title 8 times.
Thats what im curious about, he just appeared out fo nowhere on hbo and then went ip to welterwieght, he was too well known during his lightweight run, but then they pushed a rivalry with oscar and his name got bigger.
he never unified lol, i kept thinking he was the man at lightweight but he never fought any of the top guys, he never fought the wbc or wba champion, back in those days you only needed the wbc, wba and ibf to be unified, i think the wbo came into the mix around mid 2000s
very interesting, i remember hbo calling him the greatest lightweight since Duran, but now looking at his record He never unified titles. Very strange, but i still think he kos teofimo.

Yeah,
Also coincidentally the only Top 10 fighter he fought at the weight.

that was before the second Oscar fight.. He didn't need tom before that. And we still don't know if he knew what he was doing, he wasn't vert bright, just that flashing smile fooled us.
No telling how long he was on PEDs. His whole career is questionable.
Mosley bodies him. Teo fatigues in later rounds. It is during these rounds when Teo will probably get smoked badly. Shane was turning off lights at those lighter weights back in the day. Can't get caught leaning from fatigue against Shane at that weight
I think he won all his 9-10 lightweight title fights by KO. He was a tiger.
With or without BALCO? Mosley juiced up on PEDs, he wins, without, he loses.

Mosley struggled with Phillip Holiday at 135 which was pretty much the only decent fighter he fought at the weight.
Is that the only guy he couldn’t Ko at lightweight?
If Lopez was struggiling with Kambosis and got tired against Loma, what would he have done against Mosley? . Do you guys remember Mosley at 135 or have you only seen a few highlights or judging him strictly by his WW fights? Floyd didn't want to fight him at 135. i remember Mosley trying to get a fight with him when Floyd was at 130. Stevei johnston didn't want to fight him. He was a slick boxer, but the fight never happened. Mosley would have came at Lopez nonstop until he stopped him.

You my dude! I miss eating the guy who got killed after beating the dog crap outta Mosley!
Shane Mosley: Greater hand speed, better combination punch ability, proven and superior punching power, better durability, greater endurance.
TeoFimo Lopez was battered, and decked by Kambosos Junior who is a good boxer 'But he is not a big puncher'. Lopez's endurance was also not great against Kambosos in my opinion.
There is a possibility Shane Mosley stops Lopez late in the fight.
