Ray Robinson stayed at MW almost all of his career. Why didn't he move up? Hagler stayed at MW all of his career. Why didn't he move up? Joe Calzaghe stayed at MW almost all of his career. Why didn't he move up?

You make good points but the real reason GGG is still 160 is DISCIPLINE. Canelo likes to eat but he’s a gym rat so he’s never fat but is bulky. I think 168 would help GGG feel better BUT he knows theirs much more risk going up. He WONT have his same speed AND devastating power and he can’t just take shots like he normally does. Bigger boys hit harder. Why is my point so hard to comprehend This has NOTHING to do with GGG per se Just his hypocritical fan base. AGAIN, I wouldn't mind it if he stayed at MW fighting the stiffs he was fighting. His fans demanded another fighter do what GGG wouldn't and it was ok with them. GGG had a very long amateur career and didn't turn pro until he was 24. He's a natural middleweight and had a long and successful title reign there. It's a lot easier to move up in weight when you turn pro at 15 like Canelo did. At the age GGG turned pro, Canelo already had 46 pro fights. To this day, screwed up GGG groupies have no complaints with their hero feasting on guys like Rolls, Vanes, Kamil, Le Meh.....with so many other WILLING guys out there waiting. Safety is a hard crutch to give up.

Clenny is ducking. I think GGG had a pretty boring career and he should have moved into 68. I think he would have whooped Ward. Ward ain't nuffin without the dirt. I think GGG would have been ok at 68, those guys sucked. Frock would end up smoked. GGG is small for mid, but he had the style and power to do 68. Nelo can't fight every one at the same time That leaves those ''scary'' boogeymen to fight each other. I know, strange concept..... Most fighters move up because they can't do the weight. Apparently GGG can continue to make 160. He could had challenged fighters at higher weight since the MW division has been weak for so long. He never even floated a catch weight situation
