The camera angles and shaky cam. They seem to always use a close up, over the shoulder sort of style for nearly the entire duration of the fight.
In American boxing, they only use over the shoulder and close ups occasionally. It seems to be the default in British boxing.
Here's an example of what I mean. Notice how cinematic American boxing looks and how much real estate you can see, making it easier to assess distance, footwork and ring management.
American Boxing:

And here's British Boxing:

I like that such close up action above is good to show facial damage, expressions and such, but I wish it wasn't used the entire fight as it's a strain to follow the action,
Don't forget the ultra quick stoppages when the favored lad is winning...which oddly reverts into a stubborn refusal to stop the fight when the favord lad is getting trounced.
That's also a problem with British boxing.
This is true, in some fights the ref seems to WANT to jump in as fast as possible, I wonder why.

I have no preference over either. Always happy the UK and USA footage. The only thing I don't like about the USA footage (maybe just some channels, not sure) is they start the round with the camera up high for the first few seconds of many rounds and it's hard to see what's happening during that time, and it's quite annoying and a bit pretentious. Nash out.
Not sure a Man from Mars is really in a position to point fingers about the state of boxing in other places, man. Sort your own house out first.

Lemme know when you get a ring built huh?
Damn Martians acting all high and mighty now.. smh. :nonono:
I forgot to mention one of the worst aspects of British Boxing when using over the shoulder. Whenever the referee gets close or passes by them he covers nearly half the screen. All you see is a white shirt and miss any important punches except when it's replayed and you're like, "Oh that's why he was hurt...". So weird how this was chosen as the default way to broadcast boxing fights.
