At this moment it seems we hear about talks, yet there is no date for either fight. Does anyone know when this will actually get done? Fury said its on already but now I hear Dillian Whyte fires Hearn and the fight is off?
If Whyte doesn't get to fighting it will look real bad, this is his opportunity of a lifetime and he is being a diva about it.
What about AJ vs Usyk? We heard of possible step-a-side money, AJ said no, so the fight should be announced and ready to go? Where is it? What is going on in boxing?
I hope AJ beats Usyk, but if he does the same as last time........
Could you clarify what you mean by " is exactly wrong for Fury"? How is that? I view that fight as Fury favored in every possible way, superior boxer, taller, heavier and last and most importantly: heart and grit, two things AJ lacks nowadays. He used to have it when he was fighting Wladimir but for some reason in the fights vs Ruiz and Usyk there was just no passion in his boxing, there was no "I am going to maul this cruiserweight" mentality.
Has AJ been Conor McGregored? Too much money and success?
He had money and success for a long time. I don't doubt his drive, and we've seen the heart before. We'll see whether it's there in the heat of battle but I never put the Usyk loss down to that - he was just beaten by the better man who never really allowed him to get going.
As for Fury/AJ, I've softened a bit on my stance over the years. When Fury was the jinking jabber I didn't see him having a chance against Joshua. I figured he'd take too big a shot at some point against a big boxer/puncher. Even Wilder (who can't box as such) got to that version of Fury.
Fury's evolution into big boxer/puncher/brawler tips the scales closer towards him. But that evolution is almost completely untested. He did it against Wilder, but Wilder was ready made for that strategy. And Fury didn't improve been fights 2 and 3. Fight 3 was a brilliant fight to watch, but Fight 2 was a brilliant Fury performance. Effectively he would be taking on Joshua at his own game.
Personally I think his ability is more in question than his belief.
He's been financially set for a long time. But he's still been a very good champion. He's always had a clear goal that right now is in doubt - and I suspect he'll be entirely consumed by putting that right. We've never really seen him show anything else but absolute dedication.
Whether he's good enough? Ignoring the BoxingScene "AJ is crap" type posts (he clearly isn't) we're about to find out whether he's still a legitimate possibility for best of the era.
No-one has that moniker nailed yet. He's an outside shot right now but a win against Usyk puts him right in that equation again.
Then it likely comes down to Fury. Beat Usyk and beat Fury and he's the one. And I've always thought he's exactly wrong for Fury, probably more so than any other fighter. Unfortunately I think Usyk is exactly wrong for AJ.

An Alt who’s been posting here for 5 years? Seems likely… :lol1:
As opposed to the anti Fury guy who joined directly after Fury-Wilder 2.
Everybody know’s this is Bang Em, Robbie or another one of you Matchroom cucks.
I think it's one of Robbie's alts. He doesn't post via his main account anymore because he became such a laughing-stock.

I'm very much looking forward to the fight, but slightly concerned it might end up being a dud if it goes the way I feel it might. The first fight was very good for 8 rounds. Usyk was still by far the better man in those 8 rounds, but the last 4, it was like Joshua just didn't want to be in the ring and had mentally clocked out and accepted a points loss. Though he was almost stopped at the end, it was certainly not due to him going out on his shield, he was just covering up on the ropes tying to see the final bell, and that's not how a champion goes out imo. Put Fury in the same scenario and he's throwing the kitchen sink at Usyk trying to find a victory.
Joshua needs something different. So a change of team, a change of scenery, some mental work, then maybe he is back in with a shot. I want him to win, I'm just struggling to see it happen as things stand. I'm looking forward to the build up, press conference, etc, see if I can identify any change in Joshua's attitude, belief and mentality. Late in that fight I saw a coward behind the eyes, he needs to be fully committed to a war to stand a chance. Nash out.
Yes, I do. I think depending on the mentally of a person, belief is something that can be beaten out of you. With the Ruiz loss, I never felt that he lost belief, but that he lost faith in his chin and adapted himself around that. But I think he lost belief in himself at some point during the Usyk fight. I'd love to see him beat Usyk, but I just can't see it. I think he'll give it a slight go at some point in the early goings, start getting picked off, then go into his shell instead of go out on his shield.
I think Joshua loves what he has. The fame, the money, he has been a champion, many good wins, one great win/name in Wlad. The only thing he never did was prove himself at the best in the division, and with Fury, Usyk, and Wilder (my opinion) being 3 people who I gave him little chance of beating, it's something he will never do, especially if he loses to Usyk again. Look, if he beats Usyk in the rematch, then he can go for being the best again, but if he loses, hell of a long way back. Nash out.

You believe that?
He knows he's the underdog. Everyone knows he's the underdog. It's not some bit of inside knowledge that a few people on this forum have. The bookmaker odds will give it away.
But he'll believe he can beat Usyk. That's why he is making the fight.
I don't think he's quite the same either. Never has been since Ruiz. But the rematch (did what he had to do) and Pulev (impressive performance) wins were in the right direction. He was a bit tame against Usyk but contributed to a high level fight between two very good fighters.
I'd love him to prove people wrong. He's got a chance. You'll know he'll be physically prepared for the fight.

Why would I make a ban bet with an alt who would just make another alt? How does that make any logical sense?
It’s so obvious what you are, your join date and post history corroborate that and a your over the top, excessive denial prove it further.
You’re straight back every time as well, typical alt/troll loser behaviour… :lol1:
I'll guarantee it's someone who used to post here, felt irrelevant, and reinvented themselves with a troll mentality to get more attention than their previous persona.
There are plenty of them around here.
I couldn't care less if people don't know who I am.
Like your other alt make the ban bet like your other alt declined the mods can see ? I’m not in the U.K . It’ll be an easy goodbye good riddance .

I think Joshua has mentally left boxing. It's not that he doesn't want it anymore, but the fear of being hurt, and the reaction of taking another loss. The losses have hit him really hard, and I can tell by every interview since his last loss that he knows Usyk has his number. It must be hard being told you are fighting someone that you know you have little chance of beating, but that your fans think you will win. Reality vs expectation will be playing on his mind. Nash out.

Fury said he was going to butcher Whyte on April 23rd.
Joshua's head is too messed up. The fight may not even happen.

I know for sure this has got to be an alt . Seriously does this forum ever clean the garbage like this poster on here ?

Whyte vs Joshua will be for undisputed in 2023 .
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Keep dreaming…
As soon as Fury beats Whyte you’ll just make another alt. Just like you did “Mar 2020” after Fury beat Wilder.
Fury’s team is trying to force a Whyte signing before arbitration is done . Yea Whytes the greedy one getting 20 percent of a fight they can’t do without him ? At some point you know when you aren’t on here you know Fury tried not to make this fight and when he loses you’ll see why . You aren’t a typical Fury liar but you are really gullible get your guy to fight if you like this fight you are in his protection program .
I base the 20% on Fury vs Klitschko
Fury got way less than Whyte is getting now, its a good deal, 20% is fair for the challenger, no matter who holds the belt
There's no issue is there?
Fury/Whyte has to be by the end of April according to the terms of the purse. They've apparently scheduled it for the 23rd. You would assume that detail is in the contracts being signed at present and will be announced once signed in the next two weeks.
AJ/Usyk won't be within a week of that date. Nor will it be within a week of Canelo, so it will be mid to late May.
Easy. At the moment no news is good news.
Whyte vs Joshua will be for undisputed in 2023 . Nothings going on all it is a bunch of scared little Fury fans on here making a big deal out of nothing most didn’t want Whyte to accept the fight because after he wins it’s an entire different outlook on Furys career .
Tyson Fury is your daddy. He controls you emotionally and mentally. You’re his bytche.
It’s going to be a very very bad night for you guys . Fury trying to walk into the sun set unscathed isn’t going to happen and he’ll retire after Whyte he’s not built like that coming back after a knockout loss .
I do agree if he loses Fury is finished, he already talks about retiring all the time. Sadly at this point us fans can just wait on Whyte to actually sign the contract and get the fight done, stop being greedy Dillian this is your chance, take the 20% and then flip the percentages if you win

Well I completely disagree with that, if the fight happens Fury will win it, no problem. Bookmark the post and holla at me :boxing: I know boxing
Well the desired dates I've heard are April for Fury vs Whyte and May for Usyk vs Joshua.
I would suggest that at this stage already its highly unlikely we will see undisputed this year, I can see both of these fights dragging out into the second part of the year, then chances are one of the winners gets injured or a cut or some sort of BS. In fact I've got a strong feeling AJ will get "injured" close to the Usyk fight and it'll be postponed 8-10 weeks to give him more time with his new trainer.
Usyk vs AJ was almost 5 months ago already and the rematch should have already happened as neither was injured
Fury vs Wilder 3 was 4 months ago and so we should be well into training camp for fury vs Whyte.
But instead they want another 2-3 months, it's so much faffing about and with the fact that nothing is ever straightforward in boxing and the winners of these two fights are super unlikely to come to a quick agreement and sign to fight each other 4 months after their respective fights, undisputed has already been pushed out to 2023 at the earliest imho.
Sad but you are right on the money, who knows if I will see undisputed hw in my lifetime.
