Question for the Hearniacs and Rematchroom fans. Where is Eddie? He seems to have evaporated since the purse bid for Fury-Whyte. Haven't heard a peep out of him since, none of his usual 40-50 minute long, "RAW", "BRUTALLY HONEST" iFL interviews? He normally does 2-3 per week at least, but not one since the purse bids... don't think he has gone MIA like this since Andy Ruiz Jr. landed a "punch from the Gods!!" Oh wait, he might have been MIA like this when Povetkin landed "the only punch that possibly could have knocked Dillian out that night!!!" Any news on the grapevine?
$8m is breaking the bank though? Considering Whyte's highest payday is $450,000 ish? And if Whyte and Hearns believe in themselves, there will be potentially bigger paydays beyond this fight with Fury? Were they expecting a bigger split and a guaranteed rematch clause? Meaning $10m+ for each fight? $20m+? But now they have $8m and no rematch clause?! Haha!
The greedy cvnts wanted more than that, they were expecting a bigger split.
They finally got the title shot they've been crying for years about.
They're just made that they didn't get to break the bank for it like they wanted.

ARBITRATION
It is still ongoing and if it goes in Whyte favor, then he'll be entitled to 45%, which will change what Tyson Fury receives. Queenbury/Top Rank negotiated Fury fee prior to the purse bid, this ensured their side the flexibility to bid such a high amount because 29 million isn't really going to Fury.
Whyte winning the arbitration will throw a monkey wrench in Fury purse and one of two things will happen.
1. Fury may decline to fight under the new term (highly unlikely)
2. Queenbury/Top Rank may not be willing to take that financial hit now that Whyte is taking a larger chunk of the purse & could default, leaving the promotional right to the 2nd highest bidder -- Matchroom.
Not that any of us is getting anything out of this or should care, but I do not think that is how it goes.
Warren bid for the purse based on the condition WBC laid out.
1. If anything in the terms and conditions change, it will be WBC's responsibility. They might cancel this and call for fresh bids or ask them to enter fresh negotiations.
2. Before the arbitration happens, Whyte has a deadline of Feb 21 to accept or decline. In case he declines, WBC may allow Fury to take an interim fight "while the arbitration plays out". What happens later will depend on the situation at that time, including a "unification supercedes mandatory" possibility.
The only change I see is if the arbitration outcome comes out prior to Feb 21 (or WBC extends that deadline).
From Hearn's comments in the other thread, they're letting Fury do all the talking and Bob/Frank the promoting but I agree with those who think the legal shit might have something to do with it.
Either way, as long as the fight takes place I'm good.
Contract and legal talk probably. The higher powers probably told Hearn to shut his mouth to avoid jeopardizing anything
I'm just speculating with a little bit of logic of course lol

Wasn't it Ben Shalom he was working with? Hearn isn't even his proper promoter I thought.
Looks like you're missing old Eddie and his "RAW" interviews lol

Well we don't know do we? Maybe he's with the lawyers. Maybe he's on holiday? Maybe he's busy? Maybe he's concocting an evil plan?
What I do know is that what you've posted is rubbish. Hearn was everywhere after those defeats. He doesn't hide after losses - he stays and does interviews with everyone. Including IFL. Even Hearn haters surely acknowledge that?
Just introducing a bit of fact to your fiction.
