It's not just that Bivol is a better boxer than Charlo. It's also that he's just bigger, possibly stronger, has better ring IQ and his style is a nightmare for someone like Canelo. Canelo doesn't do 2 fight deals he's on a fight by fight basis. He has options for at least 2 fights at Top Rank if he chooses. That's the main point.

Charlo was Trending, it is clear what the fans want...Give It To Them! That fight likely does big PPV Numbers as well that can do a LEGIT 1 Million PPV Buys so it is just good business and makes the most sense and cents right now. Then he can go back to Eddie and DAZN if he wants and fight Bivol and GGG or go over to ESPN and fight Beterbiev and/or Joe Smith.
