Ngannou was gassed after one round of not punching, just following Gane. Then he picks up Gabe, who's supposed to be the most skilled HW in UFC, throws him on the canvas and just lays on him. No wrestling, no grappling, he just lays on his opponent and that wins him 3 rounds lol
Fury is bigger, stronger, better striker than these MMA fools. All he needs to do is learn some basic grappling and takedown defence. Hell, he might not even need that to become UFC GOAT HW in beetwen fights with Whyte, Usyk and Joshua.
No Chance!
They will just shoot on him and take im down and Ground and Pound or Choke Him Out...

That 6'9 would really work against him in MMA
moving sports is almost impossible i would say
afterall, those small gloves would make it much harder from fury to tamper with, cant imagine a floppy mma glove
Fury’s a big guy ,very naturally strong most big 250 plus 6”9 guys are I can tell you that I can tell you how strong 7 foot plus 330 pound basketball players are to .lol
. But he’s not built for MMA if eye gouging and head butts were allowed he’d have a chance because under certain rules he’d get owned .
I'm sure hes pretty strong, but stronger than Ngannou, Gane, Blaydes etc? I dunno about that. I know you cant always judge a book by the cover, but Ngannou is around the same weight as Fury but with far more muscle mass, he also has a decade plus of training to stop wrestlers from trying to ragdoll him, strength is a major component in that.
I do agree that Fury is not particularly well built for MMA. Those long legs are vulnerable to takedowns and kicks. If he could become a more dynamic striker effectively using kicks and knees as well like Volkov and Schilt he might fare better.

I missed this part at first. I dunno if the UFC tried to market it that way because I didnt watch much of the build up material, but it was definitely not the biggest UFC HW fight. From a pure commercial perspective Brock had multiple big PPV fights, and from a skill perspective i'd say the Cain/JDS trilogy. The gold standard for HW MMA is Fedor/Cro Cop , which happened outside of the UFC. Ngannou/Gane was probably the biggest HW fight since 2018 (Stipe/Ngannou 1 and Stipe/DC 1) but definitely not all time.

Are you for real
Has a hard time boxing let alone now you wanna mix in a few more sports
I bet you he loses every fight to submission
I’ve seen Fury getting manhandled by a little guy average at best ,Darren Till . Fury knows he’s not good at it he admitted it that’s why the few times he’s had guys with fights mentioned he always says no wrestling just striking .
Yeah I remember that. When you're a big HW getting taken down by a guy who fights at 170 and 185 and is known for his exploitable lack of wrestling ability, it aint a good sign.
I dont know where OP is getting the notion that Fury is physically stronger than Ngannou or Gane either.

I dont think that fight was reflective of how good Ngannou and Gane are. It was two great fighters cancelling each other out and making each other look bad instead of complimenting each other stylistically. Just look at how they usually perform against other top opponents.
Fury has had plenty of underwhelming performances himself, including against sub par competition. Imagine telling a none boxing fan that a doughy beanpole white dude from England is the baddest man on the planet, only for them to tune in to the Wallin fight. Fury/Wlad didnt exactly set the world on fire either.
I'm sure fury might like some exhibition fights once hes retired.
Sometimes I wonder why guys like Michael jai white didn't fight a few UFC fights? Just to show what he's capable of
Nobody wants to see Fury go to the UFC, there are bigger and better fights in boxing. The cross over fights now are fading out.
I don't want to see it, because it has no significance or prestige. Not on the level of heavyweight boxing anyway.
Fury vs Whyte is the fight, I personally want to see next.
I've seen Ngannou a few times and have been a bit underwhelmed to be honest. And hearing people say he hits harder than Wilder, absolutely no way, and that's with him with those tiny gloves and Wilder with boxing gloves. If Wilder hit someone properly in UFC with those gloves, they ain't ever waking up. I'd say at least 50 boxers hit harder than Ngannou. Not saying they'd beat him in the UFC ring, but hit harder, absolutely. Nash out.
Forget UFC, Fury needs to aim higher and chase the WWE title. A big ask, but maybe Fury can be the second coming of the Undertaker and take wrestling back to the glory days of Undertaker, Kane, Rock, Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, etc. Nash out.
Ngannou was injured you could tell from the opening bell his lefs weren't there ans he had zero stamina probably from not training explosive having an acl tear
Fury wouldn't be able to use his weight like he does in boxing the second he clinches these guys with 10 plus years grappling experience would demolish him...I can't see him keeping the top ten at bay from takedown with a jab
The reason derrick Lewis couldn't close in on gane was because of his leg kicks and ability to scramble
Fury is too old to learn leg kicks and a takedown defence
Let's not forget even if he had ability he would be going the distance if he never got stopped himself and that's a long time against an experienced cage vet
First time I watch Ncagnou.
Wasn't impressed.
In a boxing match Fury would viciously KO him in 3 - 4 rounds after he gasses out and has no defense.
In a MMA fight. Ncagne would circle the octagon until he gets the angle to get Fury down. Then just lay on him pitty patting shots to the side of his head for 5 rounds.
I was actually somewhat interested in this matchup. Until I saw Nbangum fight.

Na. Imaging learning to wrestle, Fury's back is already in shambles.
Lol absolutely no chance. Fury’s an uncoordinated pear. His boxing style won’t work when you can kick at range and take him down.
Dillian Whyte would be a much better UFC fighter with his kickboxing background, BJJ and one punch KO left hook.
