Erickson Lubin vs Sebastian Fundora Set For WBC Interim Title

Lubin is 5'9. No way does he close the distance and touch a guy who's 6'6 or 6'7. He doesn't have the punch output or style to beat Fundora, plus I question his punch resistance A few years ago, I would've picked Lubin. But Fundora has improved vastly He's going to have to be razor sharp and hurt Fundora in the early going. Needs to also back up Fundora or else it's going to be a tough night. Lubin has a good defense but he will still lose focus for a split second every fight and get hurt by a shot that doesn't even seem to be that big. Rosario may have more pop than Fundora punch for punch, but Fundora will be bringing the pressure from the opening bell. Very intriguing fight.

Interesting fight! I might favour Lublin to win but man, Fundora might break him if he connects to Lubin’s chin. I pick Lublin for the win, though.

I thought Garcia outboxed him and won 7-5 or draw but there are varying opinions on it. I could see it going 7-5 maybe 8-4 Fundora but the one wide card was a joke. Yeah I see a couple guys saying it was not the best fight for him last time. I'm gonna have to go back to check it out HOw are you sizing up him vs Lubin

Lubin always looks the part until he gets touched. Credit to him for working his way back too...but he's had plenty of scares since the Charlo fight; Rosario just put his legs on jelly in a fight he was in control of...Fundora will be throwing triple the amount of shots, and I dno't think they need to be heavy to scramble Lubin. Seems long night to have to avoid shots unless he can hurt Fundora early on. I remember in Fundora-Cota, when Cota was hurt he went to some awkward left handed stance, throwing over the top left hands that clipped Fundora here and there so I can see Lubin getting opportunities to land something big. not impressed by a win over Rosario who has shown poor resistance . that was a battle of glass houses imo Not a huge fan of Fundora, misses his last fight, but he seems fresher, I thought Garcia outboxed him and won 7-5 or draw but there are varying opinions on it. Didn't see Fundora's last fight so not certain. But lean towards Lubin. He's improved since the loss and lands eye catching punches that can make the difference in a close round. Last fight I thought Sebastian looked lethargic and slow, maybe it was an off night but it didn't look like the same guy that was knocking dudes out

I think Lubin's chin won't hold up. He's the better fighter with a better style but I'll go with Fundora. Agree wholeheartedly with your take. I like Lubin and think he is a skilled, aggressive, hard hitting fighter. He can get pulled into fire fights and his legs have gone wet noodle on several occasions in fights (Charlo, Gausha, Rosario to name a few). Fundora can get sloppy and his defense isn't the best but he looks to be fairly sturdy. He can crack pretty good too. I see Lubin outboxing him and dictating things until he gets drawn in a firefight and gets sparked.

Lubin is more skilled but Fundora brings constant pressure and throws hard enough pressures. Lubin's chin is definitely going to have to hold up or else he is going to get overwhelmed and stopped.

Havent seen anything special from Fundora. Lubin is slightly better. Should be a fun scrap of b level opps

Fundora going timberrrrr one of these fights. Maybe not this one but I wouldn't be surprised is Lubin pulls it off. I'll be rooting for him anyway as I've grown tired of this freak show.
