I mean this man should have finished terribly hurt Whyte, he should have finished Chisora , but he obviously lacks killer instinct badly. His skills are great for the heavyweight, but his determination to stop the opponent is just not there. That is why he will lose again when he faces somebody better than Chisora.
Parker is pretty good he's best chisora twice now. He's not as mean as Tua, and you think New Zealanders, Samoans are all the same but not the case. But might be better than tua
He has some top attributes. Really nice handspeed and accuracy for a heavyweight, he has good feet when his weight is a bit lower. Very nice punch selection at times.
He does lack that bit of spite but I thought he had a bit more last night at times. I think Andy Lee did a good job basically coaching him through the fight mentally to stay tough and not allow himself to be complacent/tame.
I don’t think you can ever train someone to completely be spiteful in the ring if that’s not who they are, but you can coach them though the fight well.
i thought it was the best he’s looked for a long time anyway.
Parker has always been one to frustrate me. The man has some god given attributes that should make him a threat in the HW division. He's big, fast, athletic, durable and he has decent power.
I think part of the issue is his natural temperament and part of the issue was his previous trainer. He never really developed his skills. He'd toss a jab, throw an overhand right and fall into his opponent where there would be an inevitable clash of heads or grappling match as a result.
I was really impressed with the impact that Lee has made on him. You could see the willingness to engage more and some better infighting ability. That uppercut he was using was a gem. I thought Parker looked the best I've seen of him in a long time. Chisora never going to be an easy out for any man.
He beat Derek Chisora better than Usyk did.
If you fight Chisora head on, it is mandatory that you have to dig down deep 'Even against Chisora at this stage of his career'.
Parker does always appear to be fighting within himself, but maybe that is just how it looks.
Good Win for him last night, you can tell it was a good win by how content he was after the fight 'Great win, one of his best'.
Looks like his partnership with Andy Lee and the Fury's is doing him good.

- - Y U picking up Doggie Doo?
does Parker even do road work? If he had a bit more stamina, he could've finished Chisora easily.
It's a choice.
Parker could probably drop weight and run marathons if he wanted. But I wouldn't be suggesting he do that before fighting Chisora.
I think he showed plenty of dog in there, he stood toe to toe exchanging with Chisora for 12 rounds.
Tha magnificent Usyk was running away like a drowned rat and didn't want NO PART of Chisora until he gassed out because Chisora was in terrible shape in that fight, and even then Usyk still ran plenty.
Great balls and heart on display from both men in there, that was a manly fight.
But is it smart to fight like that?
Parker probably lost the first fight with Chisora. In the second one he had terribly hurt Chisora in front of him at least 3 times, and he was unable to just close the show. Even more, he always gave Chisora the time to recover and become dangerous again..
Chisora was the second fight in division for Usyk, Usyk just didn`t take unnecessary risk, he just did what he came to, I mean he won the fight.
If Usyk -Parker ever happens, Usyk wins I believe, he is just smarter fighter, who understands when to take a risk. he showed that in Joshua fight.
He’s pretty boring. Watched the fight because I had nothing going on mid day today, but agreed, nothing fun to watch and doesn’t exchange that way. Keeps it safe.
Fight could have ended before the 12th
You would be surprised at how few boxers do it anymore. It used to be part and parcel of boxing. The people I see, many don't
Many have turned away from the oldschool ways and have embraced the sports science approach, which I believe leads to a insufficient gas tank. Look at the top tier guys like AJ and Conor McGregor who both have the money and the best equipment and sports science guys money can buy. Doesn't work
HIIT is the new road work.
Most of the differences are genetic once you get to the top level. They’re all training hard. AJ runs.
He’s just a narrow boned skinny guy wearing heavy muscle suit.
