Always liked Chisora, really fun boxing character and I e. always wished we had an equivalent over here. Maybe it was Arreola?
Been wanting to see that fight more recently... undercard to Fury-AJ or Canelo fight. two old popular fighters, "lovable losers"...send em off on the world stage.
If Canelo fights in Mexico, I think that'd be a good one for the crowd. Always thought he'd do well in front of mexican crowds. War Chisora
Yes, on the right card, arreola-chisora would be an entertaining decent-payday type of send off for both guys. Thanks.
American version of Chisora is Arreola.
Gatekeepers are there for a reason. There have always been guys like that, for example Savarese, Botha..
To call them legends is insulting to real legends.

Im down with this, splattering babic in a fight resembling a chippy 5am brawl then riding off into the sunset would be perfect :boxing:
That would be epic.
He has had a great career and was only completely outclassed once (Fury rematch) when you consider the level of opposition he constantly faced that is impressive. Also, change some of the losses he had that he actually won, then his resume looks very good. He already has wins over an unbeaten Malik Scott, Price, and Carlos Takam, but also beat Helenius, Whyte 1, Parker 1, and a draw with Usyk. Chisora is an ATG, and is a rich man's Joe Frazier, just fighting in a much stronger era. He also would have crushed most of the 90s lot. Mini Mike, Chicken Bowe, and Evan Fields couldn't handle that War smoke. Nash out.
Win or lose, I love the guy!!
Yeah I’ve got a lot of time for Chisora, I still maintain with better guidance he’d have achieved more too.
He’s completely shot now and just swings and hopes but a young Chisora was a real talented HW. He moved his feet, got inside behind the cross guard and got after you like he was trying to replicate Smokin’ Joe. I was pretty excited about Chisora in like 2009-10. I genuinely believe Wlad didn’t really fancy a young Chisora too, not saying Del Boy would have beaten Wlad but we all know Wlad messed him about for about 12 months without ever fighting him.
After the first Fury loss he just chased paydays though and fair play to him as he’s earned a lot of money for a guy that consistently fell short above domestic level. Definitely time to call it a day though I reckon, I didn’t really enjoy watching that tbh. It seems like his punch resistance is dwindling which is worrying, I really hope he retires.
Absolutely! Del Boy is like a Memphis BBQ master... he always brings the smoke!
Hell no Memphis BBQ wins on the high level...He is more like a backyard Kentucky BBQ...good but not prize winning
He's a warrior but the shouldn't be having wars fight after fight at his age.
Through all the crap... the fighters who would fight their manditory no matter how crappy, the fighters that ducked, the fighters that were avoided and tried to wait it out for the right opponent, and finally... the fighters that were so obsessed with not taking a loss... One fighter stood head and shoulders above the rest, and that fighter was/is Chisora.
Chisora was virtually always competative. He fought anyone. Never cared what the judges decided. And doing this has managed multiple runs at the championship, to fight often. When Chisora and Haye Rebucked the idiots at the British Boxing Board and despite the Board trying to shut the fight down, staged one of the best heavyweight fights in years... what more does one have to do to show people some perspective on who is good and who is bad for boxing?
I hope Chisora does retire I would love to be face to face with him and try to convince him how very much his presence has enlivened boxing. Of all the fighters in the division I would say that Chisora has the least to prove.
Babic on line 1

The ultimate boxing gatekeeper. Never good enough to beat any decent HW but a hard night for anybody. He's got the heart of a warrrior and a chin to match it.
If he actually had skill he would have been a hell of a fighter.
