Why do so many people say Tank Davis is pound for pound? I don't understand it. At the end of the day you entitled to you're opinion on who is p4p #1 I'm entitled to mine, but I don't understand why so many people have Tank Davis in the top 5 p4p if objective you can't say his resume even comes close to Canelo, Crawford, Usyk, Taylor, Inoue, Estrada, even Loma or Fury.
He looks talented but has a paper thin resume for a 3 weight champ
decent enough opposition at 130 but left the division without facing Berchelt and ducked loma. Still a decent run tho
Beat a paper champ that's not top 5 in the division at 140
Gone nowhere near any top 5 guys at 135.
i remember ggg and loma were hanging around p4p lists & top contenders and there was outrage even at those 2 being in contention so its basically if u like the boxer or not that determines these things at times
But they were not mexican or blacks, so, they were not hated by that.
Ellie is an idiot he’s close friends with Tank that’s why he does that.
Ellie such a suck up he would introduce Same average ass trainer who nobody knows as “one of the greatest trainers ever” kid you not.
I know I've seen him do this many many times but it is scary because MILLIONS of boxing fans worldwide get their news from him
Nash doesn't see why Mr. Tank shouldn't be in some people's top 10. All this talk about his resume, yet it's much better than Inoue's and he gets listed as high as 1, and often 3/4/5. Cruz, Leo, and Pedraza are all better wins than anybody Inoue has beaten, yet for some reason Inoue is massively hyped, even after his life and death with Donaire, 3 years after Donaire graduated from the school of Carl Frampton with a first-class beating, yet we don't put respect on Mr. Tank's name? Nash out.
I have him nearly the top of my list after beating Cruz.
Everyone knows Cruz is the Mexican Mike Tyson, just like Barrios, and easily beats Teo, Kambosas, Loma, Haney
Kell Dansby and Tim Bradley from ESPN do.

Thanks, I know I seen him on plenty of p4p lists

I always criticized those 2 but Loma earned it by dominating great fighters like Gary Russell, Walters who was p4p at the time and all the haters asked him to fight, and Rigo who yes he was smaller but was p4p and all the haters wanted that fight.
GGG never really earned it.
