I don’t even know why he’s so bothered when it would be one of his Andrade’s wins anyway.
Thoughts?
WBO=What Bob Orders
WBA= What Benefits AL
WBC= What Benefits Canelo
these corrupt Belt Organizations have taken sides and that is bad for Boxing
This was some funny sh-t sicko. Lmfao!!
Dan it can’t be that difficult can it?
Promoting 101 is to have a backup plan ready just in case.
This is boxing sadly :lol1:
I like the way UFC do things. Reminds me of boxing when I was a kid.
Fast car Eddie only disappointed because Boo Boo vs Janibek is a risk low reward bout in which he doesn't control both fighters. This is a good fight.
Only thing better would be GGG but he's booked up, Jermall or - possibly - Derveyanchenko who's fighting Sunday. And I ain't seeing any more likleihood that Uncle Al would send Jermall to fight on DAZN than I am that Eddie would send Boo Boo over to SHO.
Well said. I do dislike Eddie's "get creative" comment though. Andrade needs to take this fight.

Munguia also has a part to play in this drama, because he's been WBO #1 and has seemingly faced no pressure to capitalize on his ranking and force a title shot. I'm not saying Munguia would be tougher than Zhanibek, but I think Hearn would be more satisfied with that match-up for two reasons: Munguia is an easier opponent to sell, and Hearn wouldn't have to do business with Arum (who promotes Zhanibek?).

His frustration is pretty understandable. Hearn wants a big match-up for Andrade...and Zhanibek does not fit the bill. Hearn has been wanting Charlo/Andrade for a while now, and he supposedly petitioned the WBO/WBC to help facilitate the match-up.
Now, I would like to see the Zhanibek match-up because I think he will get Andrade out of his comfort zone. But, from a promoter's standpoint, Hearn is angry that he hasn't been able to get Andrade a significant match-up yet. Hearn is feeling the pressure.

Sometimes you just gotta laugh. You can't even believe watu read at times. Andrade turns 34 next year, he's never had the opportunity to unify in his career! Is Andrade not allowed to have a big fight? Is he not allowed to have a legacy defining moment? So, just fight solid guys no champs or former champs just do the same thing year after year? I swear I just be so baffled.. I'm just like how??? What makes you feel like this was the right thing to type when you had so much time to think this through before pressing "post." ♂️

They’re gonna duck it I reckon. Andrade doesn’t want tough fights he wants cash out fights.
That's two guys, dipschit. He could have had quadrilogies with both and they'd still just be two guys.
No.
He's had 18 fights.
For four of those fights, his opponent was ranked in the top 10. If he were to fight one of them a third time, it would sill be four because neither guy is in the top ten any longer.
That's how numbers work.
As opposed to Andrade, who has fought 31 times and only faced two top ten opponents.
4/18 is a bigger fraction than 2/31. Really, really not complicated.
Look up the rankings, genius.
N'Dam was in the top 10 the first fight and so was Brant. Both guys were ranked for both fights.

GGG will be Murata's 3rd top ten opponent. Hyping N'Dam and Brant (who's only ever meaningful accomplishment was beating Murata) is pretty funny though. Not saying Andrade had a good resume because he does but lol Holy ****.

If you fight a guy twice and he's ranked in the top 10 both times, as both N'Dam and Brant were at the times of their respective fights, that's two top 10 opponents each.
Just like Floyd fought 24 other world titlists, including twice each against Castillo and Maidana. It's not 22 because two of them were rematches, it's still 24. Pac fought 31 titlists, even though there were multiple rematches in there (Marquez, Bradley, Morales).

5th? Who were the other 2 aside from the guys he had to rematch?

Andrade has faced 2 top 10 opponents in 31 fights.
GGG will be Murata's 5th top 10 opponent in 19 fights. Yes, he lost the first fight to Brant and got robbed in the first N'Dam fight but he stopped them both in the rematches. He was the first one to stop N'Dam, who had gone the distance previously with Lemieux and Quillin, and he was the first to stop Brant.
Janibek has since stopped both Brant and N'Dam, and now it looks like Andrade is going to drop his belt to avoid Janibek.

Elaborate on this one for us

He's not willing to step in with the names it requires to earn those fights.
Murata's resume is paper thin and even he has fought vastly better competition than Andrade, in far fewer fights.

At one point Andrade was responsible for how his career went and made a lot of terrible decisions, but since he's been with Hearn a lot of these guys just refuse to fight him. You'd consider Saunders a big fight and that was scheduled to go until Nasalgate. Not Andrade's fault. Beating Derevyanchenko or Eubank or Alikmanulu wouldn't get Munguia or Charlo in the ring with him. Certainly not Canelo
Plenty of nice tidy excuses.
He tried to fight Saunders, I'll give him that.
But there's no excuse for 2 top 10 opponents and 0 legitimate titlists out of 31 fights. Period. He's fighting the absolute worst opponents he can get away with for the most part.
