Yea same here, just a humble group of boxers, modest crowds. Feels wholesome. I got my fix for today. Looking forward to the Showtime event tomorrow.

I kinda want to see Fierro and Valenzuela stepped up more. Valenzuela particularly. Two straight journeymen since beating Robbie Davis Jr. makes no sense. Fierro looks patient and has good power. I'd like to see him in with someone like Jezrell Corrales.

Cruz got her ass kicked the last few rounds, but likely keeps the title. Low skill,fun fight

Esquivel made and adjustment, just rocked Cruz

Cruz is making this style work but anyone with decent power is going to blast her out. Taylor and Serrano would KO her in a few rounds, for sure.

Fights a really good example so far of what a difference experience and fighting with confidence makes. Esquivel is bigger, stronger, far more technically sound, bigger puncher, etc. but she’s just a deer in the headlights for most of this fight. Cruz is just willing herself into winning these rounds.

Round 5 all Cruz... can’t miss with her 1-2... Esquivel is not liking the pace. 4-1 Cruz.

Round 4 to Esquivel, currently have it 3-1 Cruz. like a lot of women’s fights, hard to score

Esquivel is a far more sound fighter, but currently getting out hustled by Cruz

Cruz already has a shiner. Esquivel has a better jab and knows how to put punches together, but she’s visibly bothered by Cruz’s wild style. This might be a good one

The Solomon-Silva fight was an epic back and forward between two undefeated prospects. Great fight. Morales’ kid looked pretty mediocre. I really like Erika Cruz... hope she looks good tonight. Also hope does well in the ring. :boxing:
