March 2022 I mean. Bob Arum apologists can argue that Teofimo won't take the rematch, but this is prize fighting, and usually everyone has a price. Bob just needs to offer whatever it takes, and back his fighter Loma. Loma has had two close fights under Arum, vs Salido and Teofimo, and the decision went against him both times, and both times there was at least one example of a suspect scorecard or referee. In a sport where the officials usually act however the promoters and power brokers in the sport want them to act, for the officials to be against Loma in two in-house fights suggest Arum is not backing him. If so, Loma needs to leave.
If Arum does not get Loma the rematch by March, and if Loma does not leave Arum, then IMO Loma is a fraud. He claims to be a legacy fighter, so if he continues to stick with a promoter who fails to get him his biggest legacy fights, which right now is the Teofimo rematch, but even before that Arum did a terrible job getting him legacy fights (Pacquiao, Mikey pre-Spence, Floyd at a catchweight, etc), that indicates to me he is just a talker. If you're a legacy fighter, you don't stick with a promoter who doesn't get you legacy fights. That's just basic logic.
