If Usyk decided to stay at cruiser weight and not give up the belts, would Canelo have the testicular fortitude to challenge him? | BoxingScene Community
Usyk tested the waters in hw before fighting one of two heavyweight title holders. If he beats Joshua, he will fight the other title holder.
So you are telling us that Canelo will go for other cruiserweight belts if he beats Mukabu?
You act like Usyk going up to hw is the same thing as Canelo Going up to HW,1s a 6'3" career cw,the other is going to come in at 180 lbs for a cw fight ffs)
He will surely go after Beterbieve/Bivol(& maybe Breidis after just like he has gone after every other top ranked champ in every other division.
(you act like Canelo Didn't literally just do exactly that by unifying smw, after the same ppl were claiming he was cherrypicking Feilding to duck the Real champs)
1st fight at mw v ggg #1,then Jacobs #2,then 2nd fight at smw v #1,then the rest,lhw kov was ranked #1 by Ring,Makabu is ranked #2 at cw(notice a trend:lol1:)
Why don't you just admit you hate him, considering it was you who was contemplating whether Canelo going to CW is even possible, now suddenly#2 isnt good enough,he needs to go straight for#1 just because hes Canelo.
Isn't it funny that you're down to your last 2 or 3 boogiemans & if he beats them you're going to have to invent a new 1 at hw?
Back to the drawing board
Canelo says he's 'not ready for 160'
Canelo to face Chavez Jr. May 6 on HBO PPV at 164.5 pounds
haha keep defending this!
Pathetic that you would as usual do what you do best & post something where Canelo said no such thing(& neither did Gomez (even though I said to post where CANELO said he can't make mw:dunce: :tool:
A guy that started at 147 , and getting thrashed for going into cruiserweight to fight a champion , remind me who has done that and why haven't any other fighter tried to do it
GGG ''wanted'' to :lol1:

What do you think
Nelo fans (me) will say yes, haters will say no.
Then maybe for a rematch, should Nelo lose, Usyk can move down ?
The end
Old man GGG wishes he had Nelo's career.
Why didn't you call Usyk a pssy for going after Witherspoon then Chisora which are both worse opponents on paper than Makabu by miles?(& Usyk is taller with more reach)
Ask yourself ( honestly)did you imagine in a million years hed be fighting the #2 cw champ? (Because right before it was announced someone made a thread asking everyone if they think he'll win a belt at CW & I said hell no,no way in hell he wins a CW belt(& most agreed)
but now suddenly tiny 5'7" Canelo is a pssy for not going after Breidis who Usyk barely scraped by,or Usyk who himself has only had closer odds v AJ(Makabu is closer odds than Breidis v Usyk & v Chisora)

I’m no Canelo hater, he’s clearly the best fighter out there today but for the best fighter to go up in weight classes and fight the weakest belt holder (first Kovalev and now Makepoo) is ridiculous. I’m sorry if you don’t like it but when you’re the best fighter in the world you should be held to a different standard.
Threads like these are a compliment to Canelo. Keep them coming.
Its an inadvertent compliment, but only serves to grow his legend.
Wow what a crazy thread.
What a compliment to Canelo that haters need to bring in heavyweights and question whether he would have the balls to fight them. A fuking heavyweight.
I’ve been watching boxing since the early 90’s. Almost 30 yrs and I don’t ever remember such a small 5’7” dude ever being in the conversation with a heavyweight.
Maybe Roy Jones but he’s 6ft or close to it.
I still remember when those Rocky Fielding threads started popping up people said it was crazy for small Canelo to fight at 168 since he had barely jumped to 160.
What a ride!!

I like Canelo but I'm not going to lie, defend and pretend like it is not obvious what he is doing and more power to him he has a very loyal fanbase so Canelo can fight ME and some of his fans would Defend it lol

I don’t know what this rant is about and I don’t care.
i know you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer but try to stay on topic. Answer the proposed question......
I'm still waiting for you to post where Canelo ever said he was too small for mw,& its so stupid to say the best resume in boxing by miles & miles is just hopping divisions avoiding smoke(you were literally saying he was ducking Smith,& Jacobs,& ggg,& Plant you liar(its very well documented)
"That dirty ginger has only faced the #1/#2 boxer in 5 divisions 9 or 10 times,& has only cherrypicked the lineal title in 3 divisions like 5x,damn dirty ginger pos, arrrg":poke:
I'm not a middleweight,” Alvarez said when discussions veered to a potential showdown with IBF and WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
DERP DERPDDERP DERPITY DOOOO.
