Canelo becomes the GOAT if…

Calling it now. 1.If Canelo retires having become undisputed at one more weight class. So 168 + one more 2. Gets a title at cruiserweight 3. Gets a title at Bridgerweight 4. Gets a title at Heavyweight against UYSK or another legit top 3 heavy 5. Retires with 70 + wins 6. Reigns as P4P until he’s 35 7. Won belts in 7 different weight classes. Then it’s lights out for me, and probably many others, he’s the GOAT. The accomplishments would be too much to ignore.

1 of the GOAT?? he would be the GOAT if he went undisputed at 175 and it wouldn't even be close. You know, this is entirely possible and I see this as the natural next step in Alvarez’ career. I see him arriving to 175 in 2023.

If Usyk comes back down to Cruiserweight and Canelo beats him, he's completed the ultimate challenge. But Tyson Fury at Heavyweight is just too much, it's impossible. It would be no different than a grown man bullying a child.

yea I agree, if he makes the move it needs to happen under 32 yrs of age. 33 tops. He would need to be the best version of Canelo. True, there must be something he can do to become goat candidate. Of course he won't fight ,200 times like srr. But as long as he does things nobodies done before he can be in the equation

Just my opinion but there's no P4P in the GOAT title. You actually have to be the best. Winning a heavyweight fight doesn't prove GOAT status and I don't think he will anyway. P4P he'll finish right up there. People will be taking about Canelo for decades.

Things change fast in boxing. He's on top of the world right now but he will lose again and then regain momentum. he looks like he's on a mission and means business though, whilst he's got the momentum he might as well go for it because before you know it things not going well for you yea I agree, if he makes the move it needs to happen under 32 yrs of age. 33 tops. I can honestly see him doing 6 of the 7. The one that he might not accomplish is the heavyweight title against a legit top 3 belt holder. People are going to be FURIOUS if he actually accomplishes all of this and becomes the boxing GOAT. His haters would throw up.
