I appreciate Crawford's no bs mentality. No circus act reality TV bs with that guy, he's an all business assassin in there. my only concern with him is his age, I'm afraid that he's pretty much over the hill by now or by the fight after Porter. It would be a shame if he clearly slowed down before we saw him in there with Errol Spence, who himself might be done too, and others at welterweight and super welterweight. The way his career has been managed is a travesty. Concerning Bud over the hill I agree. I been saying for a while (on my You Tube channel) that I definitely can see Bud retiring soon, maybe two more fights and he's gone. And I doubt he fights Spence. He has said several times that Spence is past him.

Money is made from CASUAL fans. They want characters. We've seen it time and again. Ali didn't get over with casuals because of the boring ass clinchfest that was Rumble in the Jungle. He got over because of his mouth. Facts, Ali was one of the best, or the best to do it

Neither is Crawford, since according to his promoter, hes a money loss leader. So this narrative that all people care about is what goes on in the ring was debunked by Arum himself. You need personality and character. Period. You are the minority. Stay in your bubble and watch your guy continue to suck at the gate because you aren't pushing him to do his job OUTSIDE the ring. I mean that's the thing, hardcore Boxing fans are definitely the minority. They train actors, they teach singers how to sing, they do makeovers to project an image, with boxers they say just go be popular, it doesn't work that way many need to be taught how to sell themselves and boxing promoters don't want to employ the right people to do that. Crawford strikes me as the quiet type, who keeps himself guarded in the public eye. Not good for promoting himself. That said, I don't think he will KO Porter. He'll win a close decision. I feel you at quiet type. Yeah he introverted, but in this sport, even if you an intro, you gotta show more life and enthusiasm.

Press conferences and that type stuff means little to me and doesn’t to many real boxing fans. I think Crawford win a well deserved UD in a tough fight where Porter has his moments.

Saw Crawford on Jalen and Jacoby on ESPN yesterday. Was sad. Those guy are trying to hype up the fight and Crawford is mumbling and bumbling like he’s half asleep.
