...a fan of boxing.
Canelo has changed. He now knows what he wants to do in the ring and exactly how to do it.
Hes not getting beaten.
Very impressed with his elusiveness on the outside and how he can catch you going out
He has become a very polished fighter.
Canelo knows positional advantage to a great degree
Sure he's beatable, but who is good enough to do it?
Bivol? No. Beterbiev? Maybe some years ago, but not now.
He has to venture up to Cruiserweight just to have a real challenge.
I called it a long time ago. But I won`t give Canelo a credit for beating Bivol or Beterbiev before I see it.

his opposition has got worse, thats it. these stiffs at 168 are not the skill level of the fighters who he fought earlier in career and struggled with. put him in with a fighter with a bit of skill, light on their feet and he'd look the same as he did earlier in his career.
Canelo's main deficit as a boxer is his flat footedness and slower foot speed. He knows it. But he is on helluva a pressure fighter who keeps his eye on his opponent %100 of the time.
He cuts of the ring extremely well and makes the opponent think. If they make a wrong move it could cost them a power shot to the dome.
BJS was doing great. But it took Canelo one shot to end the fight. Canelo had his moments in the fight too.
GGG did very well against him because GGG is also a bull who can box. The guy to beat Canelo should be able to take a shot and outbox Canelo and is able to land his shots and not get caught by Canelo on the way out.
Caleb Plant did well considering their experience in the game is light years apart ( Floyd, BJS, GGG, Kov, etc to name a few )
