If Wilder was 5'4, he would murder all the Bantamweights.
If Floyd was 6'10 and 250 lbs, he would school Fury.
Hypotheticals are fun, until they get boring.
I'm bored.
Here's a huge if.....
What if Pac bois were honest and logical
I said before the fight that Plant could have beaten Canelo if he had power and I'm sticking by that claim
If Plant had power, he wouldn't be Plant.
A good jab will always give him problems but he negates it by consistently pressuring with feints and loading up on calculated power shots to have guys hesistant to throw the jab or over exert themselves with thinking if they want to start trading with him up close.
In my opinion it is going to take someone durable with good hand speed and power along with skill to beat Canelo at this point as far as 168 goes. I just don't see anyone having the legs and stamina to keep him from breaking the down over the course of a full 12 rounds. And I emphasize 12 rounds because he will bank on trying to finish you in those last 2 rounds.
You just described David Benavidez. People will be shocked how easily David beats him.
We can all apply the word If to any scenario. What if Nelo was 6'4'' ???

If Spence, Ennis, Ortiz, Crawford, and Porter we’re naturally the same size, the would all beat Canelo
Spence had a close decision agains Porter, Ennis and Ortiz are unproven, Porter has lost some and won some and Bud has not taken any risks. But yet they beat Canelo who is fighting bigger skilled fighters.
Tells you how special canelo really is.
But to be fair it’s not just a height thing Canelo is naturally broader and thicker than Bud and Spence. Just look at canelos thighs they’re big and his neck is huge dude looks like of those pit bulls in the magazines. To where Bud and Spence are naturally skinnier all around.
Same comparison can be made to Porter. Broader and thicker and competed as a natural middleweight in the amateurs. The middleweight limit was also bigger than pros at 165.
Spence says he wants the Canelo fight. That would be a huge fight if it ever happens.
The guy's got the best resume out of anyone in boxing even though I personally don't think he should have some of those wins. If he doesn't count as "great" then frankly I don't think there's anyone else currently fighting that does.
The weird thing is people don't realize that most super middleweights are going to take early rounds against him because they all have a significant height and reach advantage over him. Dude is short but really stocky.

I’m not referring to mythical matchups. Those are realistic “what if’s “ because you’re comparing different fighters as is.
I’m talking about the type of “what if’s “ that involve adding attributes to a fighter that they don’t have.
An example would be “Caleb Plant would have beaten Canelo Alvarez IF he had more power”.
My point is that you could do that with anybody when they lose.
Anyone can beat anyone if they have more fantasy, that's the flavor of this forum, reality rides in the back seat in here.
Crawford and Spence are naturally his size. They each walk around over 180 pounds and they are each taller. Yet they are still draining themselves down to 147.
Canelo fans love their "what ifs" so it's a fair question. Not a day goes by where Canelo fans aren't declaring Canelo could beat Floyd Mayweather or Roy Jones IF they fought in their primes.

There is always an “IF” though. IF a guy had this, IF a guy had that

May beat the version of Nelo that would have killed Pac.
8 div chump, Pac
Floyd fans have always been history revisiinsists with the more nel o wins the better Floyd looks?
All whilst trying to downplay nelow wins? And hoping nel o gets knocked out.
reality is more nel o wins the weaker nel o must have been when he fought floyd
The massive set of balls it takes to fight -
Shot Clottey, Shot Rios, Shot Lucas, Shot DLH*, Shot Broner, Shot Algieri*, Shot Margarito*, Feather fisted Vargas, Feather fisted Bradley 3x, Part time teacher HORN
I am ecstatic that Pac bois are a thing of the past. Basically you and that DJ fellow are all that remain :lol1:
Nel o has surpassed floyd. Floyd story ended with cw win then śudden retirement, no longer able to write story. Nel o continued to win to convince people, the Floyd nel o beat was weakest version.of nelo, and today's nel o beats any version of floyd.
Nel o has convinced people he'd beat any version of floyd by stepping up divisions and beating avoided fighters like ggg, kovalev, smith, bjs, plant taking unbeaten records left right and centre. To the point floyd s cw green win over nel o means and counts for nothing
I think Canelo’s body shots had something to do with Plant’s energy drain. Caleb was in great shape so he didn’t gas out on his own.
That’s a very good point as Canelo was def killing it with those body shots
