In spite political hurdles at 135, the lightweight division has and is producing solid fights among top-tens : Four-weight contender/champion Gervonta Davis is fighting a top ten in Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz next month. Teofimo Lopez jumped right into unification vs. the top 3 P4P at the time Vasily Lomachenko, and Teo is following that up with a title defense vs. top 10 George Kambosos later this month. Ryan Garcia, actually stepped up against a top five Luke Campbell in January of this year. Devin Haney is fighting top ten lightweight Jo-Jo Diaz in December. My way of looking at it is like this, if you proven to be padding your record chasing millions, OK thats cool, I'm not expecting anything from you, I know how you get down. I'm not paying much attention to your career, you really aint shyte but I'm not losing sleep over it.

The best aren’t fighting the best on a regular basis. It’s more the promoters and mangers who keep protecting the 0s of these fighters the rather build a fighter up on guys who pose a 35 to 40 % chance of beating their fighter until they get a title shot. It’s business and money first legacy 2nd boxing has changed since the days of Floyd. He did it the right way most of these new guys trying to be Floyd before they even touch a world belt lol.

This is ridiculous. I seriously hope next year some of these mfers start fighting each other. 135 has 5 undefeated fighters in the top 10(not including Tank because he just hops around from division to division cherry picking). At least Kambosos and Lopez are scheduled to face each other before it's cancelled again. Why do fans of fighters accept this nonsense? Six undefeated fighters in the top 10???? How???? LOL that's a great point man......we will see
